Seriously one of the best laybys in southern England! The views are INCREDIBLE! We watched storms move along the valley in front of us… then had an AMAZING rainbow! The road up can be a bit narrow, but given a slow drive, anything can make it! 10/10! We’ll be back!

Two large lay-bys with plenty of space, although it was just us there at the time. Very quiet with light traffic and only a couple of people stopping. Amazing views of the sunset and a beautiful view to wake up to.

Very peaceful night here. Ample space and wonderful sunset views.

Nice wide flat layby and quiet road with amazing views

got here just before sunset and was very beautiful to watch. you can see for miles from this spot. By a road but extremely quiet. very wide lay by so not like you are parked right next to road which is nice. would stay again thanks for having me!

Stayed on 20/1/22 Trust us to choose coldest night for our very first night in our van. Arrived after dark but scenery in the morning was wonderful. Quiet after around 18.30. Lay-bys set well back from edge of road.

In the middle of nowhere which was lovely. We got there when it was dark so didn’t realise how great the view was until the morning. Plenty of flat space and a rubbish bin that’s tucked into the hedge

Quite narrow in places getting up here though not an issue. (We have an autosleeper cotswold so just over 7m long) Fabulous spot, wide and narrow with wonderful far reaching views. A couple a walks from here on komoot too.

Fabulous spot with spectacular view over Blackmore Vale. 2 other vans overnight. Quite night just a few cars coming up till 11pm but no trouble. Amazing sunset

Lovely view, relatively quiet with some traffic throughout the day, only one interruption from a dogger.

I live quite local and have stayed here a few times. Never had any trouble and the view is amazing. Have watched meteor showers and lightning storms from here! Great spot!

A really wonderful lovely site with great views but only mildly spoiled by the nocturnal visitors whose intentions may have been of the more carnal variety.

Excellent park up. Fabulous view and sunset large parking area. Here 19/07 2020. please don't litter, keep the spot beautiful.
