Perfection, nothing here but dog walking, marked walk passing village ruin, loch and celtic cross through the ancient woodland. There a2 walks, one follow the celtic symbol the other follow the bird. the walls actually start back at the forestry center carpark but pass through here. i would say there's room for 2 smaller vans or one motorhome size.

Great little spot, plenty of room for three campers. Quiet and undisturbed. Just far enough from the road not to be bothered by it but it’s a quiet road anyway, nothing at night. Nice walks into the woods, saw a few deer on the way in ☺️

Beautiful small area enough for a couple of vans. We parked here for the night as the visitor centre down the road was quite busy. Visitor centre a few minutes walk away which has free drinking water, waste disposal and very clean toilets, leave a donation in the box provided. A few walkers in the evening/morning.

Nice location but busy, lots of cars and people until evening time. Tall motor homes will have branches scrap sides when driving in. We did. Once day visitors left it was very quiet. Close to road but hardly any traffic.

Lovely quiet spot but regular walkers. Very near visitor station for good toilets & water (but water is too far for hose).

Spot on! It’s tranquil here for sure. Very dark at night- no streetlights and no cars went past when I was here between 9:00pm and 7:00am (and only then it was 1 car!). Here in October and was a pleasure watching the geese flock in the evening. A call and quiet night had. There’s no litter bins here and no litter either . Please leave no trace like everyone else already has.

Space for 2 campervans, accessed by short reasonable dirt road. Flat. 5 mins from visitor centre with toilets and chemical toilet disposal area. Nice walk to Burn O'Vat and lots of trails around the lake. Private and quiet compared to the main car park, especially at night.

Was a perfect wee spot to spend under the blue moon. The toilets were 5 min walk at the visitor centre and VERY hot water. would recommend. A little busy on a Sunday morning with dogs and walkers, but who can blame them, mostly happy and chatty though, dogs love a wee sausage which helps!
