lots of signs saying no parking same as the other car park. shame was a good spot.

We stayed here, nice and quiet, little bit of rubbish around, other camper homes were parked up with kayaks on, we were only one without. we didn’t have a problem

New signs at entrance,no overnight camping/parking,shame as lots of space and some nice spots

Turned up and decided not to stay. Firstly theres a manually operated barrier at the entrance. I have no idea if this is ever used / brought down, but if it is then you are trapped inside. Secondly the amount of litter was noticeable. Shame really because its very spacious and a lovely setting. The other car park ( 200 metres away, and listed on P4N ), was my preferred location.

Great spot. Canal, river, birds, trees. Passed by police patrolling 6-9 times. Shared a wave, absolutely not bothered by vanlife

Drove through here - it would be lovely to park but it feels a bit cheeky as the spaces appear to belong to the white water and air trail facilities. Maybe if you arrive late and leave early it’s fine? We chose the public carpark up the road (also on P4N) instead.

Good spot. Very close to the River, so their are things to do and things to see. Lots of trees, which I am always happy about. We saw a few cars through the evening but we were almost alone the whole time and we're undisturbed. Good night. Lots of parking spaces.

Big car park so plenty space. Bit of action on a weekend but safe enough -up and out the way early cant go wrong.

our first ever night in our first ever van ,stayed here because it was close to home ,very quiet all night , lovely walks around the river and barrage , there's a cafe further down, the talpore pub close by ,which does nice food ,and there's a Premier Inn where you could get an all you can eat breakfast ,but this park is very quiet, no bother all night

We have stayed there a few times out of desperation! The parking is lovely and the surrounding are is perfect but the boy racers are there all night reving their engines and racing around the car park till around midnight. It is a shame as it’s a lovely place to wake up to.

Quiet car park by the whitewater course, couple of other campers here but other than that, empty. A bit of traffic noise from the main road but nothing serious. Perfect for visiting the whitewater centre and being in town.

Follow signs for Air trail. Yes says will be locked but looks like not locked in years. Great location. Free. No one else here all-night. Nice walk in to town. Good for cycling. Can not fault it.

Fantastic spot. Lovely walks around the white water park and up the Tees. Quiet, clean, bins, no issues.

We weren't disturbed at all. car park was virtually empty. one other motorhome there. sign on entry to the car park states barrier closes at 5pm. it didn't. this was a Sunday night. situated next to the river Tees there is a really nice walk along the river at sunset.
