Stopped here after the NEC caravan & motorhome show, the staff were so friendly and the food was 1st class. Definitely recommend and will be back that’s for sure. All hard standing and 16 amp hook up for £15 per night. Recommend you phone ahead. The gates are closed from 10pm till 10am making it more secure
We went there a couple weeks ago. Very satisfied. There were at least 8 places with electric hook ups, maybe more, didn't check. Plenty of space to turn around. Price 15 £ per night and whatever you spend for dinner in the restaurant. Staff was very friendly. They close the gate at 10 pm till 10 am, if you want to leave early, you have to warn them. No problems.
Good stopover, but beware if you have a long vehicle or with trailer you may catch the bottom on gateway slope, and remember to get key lock number as gates are locked between 10pm- 10am.
Excellent place to stay. Motorhome parking at rear, suited us better than the larger parks. Electric hookup was 15 pounds, toilets locked at night. Highly recommend.
Wir sind spät abends angereist. Ein großer Parkplatz eines pub. Es sind bestimmt 6 wohnmobilstellplätze mit Stromanschluss vorhanden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei Bedarf hätten wir auch den Schlüssel für die Toiletten bekommen. 15 £ für eine Nacht mit 2 Personen ist super!
Could not praise the Anchor Inn and particularly the staff. We had a fantastic meal here on Friday night. Food incredible service amazing. Stayed two nights. Extremely reasonable. Very friendly and obliging people. Highly recommended. John the Manager made sure that all our requirements were met.

Local maravilhoso para descansar, ao lado da rodovia e tem um pub maravilhoso.
Sehr gastfreundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Der Pub ist schön, wir hatten Glück es gab sogar einen Live Musik Abend. Strom, Wasser vorhanden die Toiletten sind pragmatisch. Für eine Nacht perfekt geeignet! 15£ völlig in Ordnung :)
Great parkup. Not the cheapest at £15 but that included 16A electric hook up and apparently water available onsite but we didn't use the water. We ate in the pub and the food was excellent. The pub has apparently recently added quite a few more pitches with hard standing and electric hook ups for all pitches but not all are completely flat. There was a little road noise but it wasn't bad
So friendly and welcoming. Large car park to the pub with plenty of space for motor homes and an electric hook up for £15. We had a lovely meal in the pub, food is amazing, all homemade and comforting. Would 10/10 recommend and hopefully visit again
Friendly pub with interesting choice on specials menu. They are in the process of upgrading the site to make it better for motor homes. From summer they say it will cost £15 to stay. There was road noise from 5am. It’s possible to walk along the canal side which was nice.
Great stop over. Quiet and level. Lovely meal in pub with excellent meal. Especially the cheesecake desert looking like fish and chips. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely will come again.
what a little jem this place is. food was to die for right next to the canal lovely atmosphere staff wonderful would highly recommend and will be back

Nice quiet carpark on a Thursday night. Food and beer good, couldn't finish the fish and chips. Toilets open but somewhat run down. Next to the canal which was nice for an evening walk.
Don’t be fooled by the scruffy-looking car park. This is a proper friendly pub with amazing pub food (talk about generous portions) and a great variety of beers on tap. There’s a beer garden too for those sunny days. It’s right next to the Coventry canal so some walks to be had. The road gets a bit noisy from about 8am but it’s fine during the night. They have outside toilets at the beer garden that stay open during the night - handy if you don’t have your own. Would definitely stay again!
Spot on pub rest stop. Pub only had a couple of lines on, but the food is absolutely top tier. The fish and chips destroyed me, I was beyond full. Service was exceptional as well, felt genuinely looked after. There was a bit of noise with racers on the main road, and music blaring from them until about 10pm but after all that I slept solidly until 8am. Easy walk into Nuneaton. 50m-1hr.
Tee road nome is wrong for this pub. it should be Mancetter road, Hartshill. Co Ords are correct. It is on the Coventry Canalside and popular with boats in the summer. Pleasant canal side walk into either Athetstone or Nuneaton. The canal does not pass through either town centres so check google maps for your bridge exit.
