Had no issues but area is being renovated, so might not be there much longer. Contented souls pub is dog/people friendly great food. Sign says no vehicles over 5m and charges were between 8.30am and 5.30pm. Tap dancing seagulls and it is a working harbour so a little noise but not to bad . Harbour seals and dolphins early evening just off the shore by the rocks following the boats and canoes.
No spaces apparent outside the pub, tables and chairs where spaces might have been. Car-size spaces nearby were too small and had warnings posted about overnight parking, but another notice gave a location on the other side of the harbour: harbourview car park gunsgreenhill eyemouth. We moved round to there, will update later on that one.
Great place to park! There's lots of spaces all along the harbour. At the moment it's free all day and night. It's flat! No facilities, the toilets up the road were closed but there are some in the Co-op carpark about 5 mons walk away. Seals in the harbour, lovely little beach right next to van. Friendly pub, butcher, baker. Really lovely walk along coast path to St Abbs.
Pay and display says 8.30-5.30 £4, no signs saying no overnight parking, so we just paid the £4. The staff in the Contented Sole and other locals said that we would be fine parking overnight even without paying the £4 day charge. There were two other campervan overnight also. Lovely little place, with friendly locals, Fleet Pub very friendly. Good food in the Contented Sole. Nice little beach.
It is 17 pounds at night here at the harbour master and I got rudely awake this morning at 6:30 by elderly gentleman saying no overnight parking as he was bringing on my door even though I had paid £17 to the harbour master for a night on the harbour 2022-01-24 19:15:51
Fabulous place to stay and free to park during winter months. Seals in the bay, the Contented Sole pub really friendly. Walked along the beach in the morning and got fresh bread from the bakery and sausage from the butchers, Best I have had for a long time. Well worth a visit!
Stayed here few nights ago . gorgeous place watching seals right in front of van..lots of spaces and loos few minutes walk away next to coop. would definitely return.
Paid for parking 8:30 till 17:30. Free to stay overnight with no issues. Friendly locals. Great pub at contented sole with a fab meal. Nice beach and watching the seals was definitely the highlight! Lots of local bars and I’ve cream shops.
Lovely little fishing village, people are friendly, seals are friendly! Must have fish and chips at The Contented Sole! Best fish & chips we've had in a long time! Parking wasn't a problem but it was mid September

Great little fishing port, nice place to go for a pint and to see the seals swimming in the harbour. Pay and display during the day and fine for an overnight stay in the van.
Lovely little stop right on the harbour. a few nice places to eat and drink and they have their own seals in the bay, too.
Ein wunderschöner Stellplatz, stehen jetzt schon das 2. mal problemlos da, bisher hat niemand etwas reklamiert. Sehr schön sind die Seehunde im Hafenbecken.
Lovely friendly pub, but the Landlord says that the parking spaces are run by the harbour trust and are not the property of the contented sole. There were several motor homes staying during our visit and by all accounts there often are.
