You can buy a card on line or in selected shops in order to use the services. It doesn't seem possible to use the black water services as the system is adapted for the boats on the canal.

Convenient stop on our way to the ferry (about 75 mins from the port). Far enough out to still be in natural surroundings without going in to the city itself. Had to park the van side-on to still allow access for other cars. Didn't try the facilities this time but showers / toilets available. Free to just park-up. Bit noisy with kids on motorbikes but overall a reasonable spot.
Kleine Hafen am Kanal mit z.T. heruntergekommenen Booten. Behinderten WC ist durchgehend geöffnet. Weiteres WC und Duschen mit Karte wie beschrieben zugänglich. Strom ebenfalls mit Karte, allerdings eher für die Boote gedacht. Frischwasser an den Bootsäulen verfügbar. Grauwasserschacht nicht vorhanden. Schwarzwasserentsorgung nur mit Schlauch für die Boote vorgesehen, kein Schacht o.ä. für Camper.
We stayed for one night. Lovely views and walks along the canal. Quite safe, locals and boat people very friendly. There was another Motorhome and car camper the night we stayed. Toilets are clean and open (no card needed) during the day. Shower also available, but you need to purchase a card for that. See other people’s comments on how this is done. May be busy during the sunny summer months.
perfect. arrived after 8pm but still able to buy a unit card from Mulanneys shop. far end of town, slightly hidden. €6.50 for 10 units. showers basic but as clean as to be expected. 1 toilet 4 showers. plenty of space. ehu available with unit card. pub was busy, Chinese was open. definitely a hidden gem.
Super, bester Platz! GERADE stehen, LEISE, Hühner Krähen morgens;-) In Robertstown kann man im Gemischtwarenladen für 6.50€ Karte mit 10 Einheiten kaufen. 2 Einheiten kostet die Dusche.Klo ist umsonst.es gibt KEINE Waschmaschine dort. aber: KLO ENTSORGEN umsonst, direkt hinterm Waschhaus recht zu den Büschen ist eine Grube mit Deckel.
Très chouette ! Et contrairement à ce qui est écrit par ailleurs, il y a bien un endroit pour vidanger les eaux sales. Nous avons demandé à un Monsieur qui nous a gentiment montré. Recommandable.

as everyone else says. just became if floowing Google maps it's not the road that says no through road. shower 15mins for 2 units toilets were grand
Wat een leuke plek is dit toch! We waren hier aan het begin van onze vakantie en zijn nu weer terug. 's Avonds kan het gezellig druk zijn door booteigenaren, vissers, sporters, wandelaars en verliefde stelletjes. 's Nachts is het absoluut stil! campers max. 6.5 meter. Wij fietsten langs de kanalen! Voorzieningen zijn prima Tickets te koop in het dorpje dichtbij.
Une halte fluviale sympa avec de l'eau propre à disposition. Par contre, pas de vidange cassette WC ni eau grise. Un environnement qui nous rappelle un peu le canal du midi...

Quiet area beside canal marina. Make sure to purchase an inlands waterway card to avail of shower and laundry services. Mullaneys shop in Robertstown has them and almost anything else you might need, groceries, gas, light diy supplies etc). The card means you can access these services along canal routes that gave the shower/toilet facilities...Shannon Harbour, Ballinasloe etc
we hebben hier een nacht doorgebracht. kan alleen bereikt worden vanuit robertstown. het invaliden toilet is ook open. veel mensen wandelen langs, met en zonder hond
Tout ce qu'on attendait de ce coin pour notre passage: des toilettes, de l'eau et un coin paisible où passer la nuit. Arrivé assez tard et parti très tôt, nous n'avons pas pu profiter du paysage. Deux accès dont un était fermé par une barrière, faire le tour du pont pour arriver dans l'autre sens.
Great free park up. Toilet open all night. Nice flat space. Very quiet and about 1 mile from Robertstown and same from Allen wood along the towpath. Lovely for a walk.

Stayed for a night with 3 mates in separate cars, plenty of parking and a toilet open 24/7 is convenient. Plenty of parking although some large campers may struggle. Friendly locals, we kept noise down due to people on narrow boats. Even during a super heavy downpour we felt safe parking here overnight.
cadre sympathique avec canards, promenade possible le long du canal. toilette disponible et propre et eau propre. Manque des poubelles comme partout en Irlande.
Lovely quiet setting. Friendly ducks and locals. One toilet open all day and night to use. Very clean and tidy. Lovely walk along the canal with the dog. Great overnight stop.

loved this spot. very quiet and felt safe. there must be a way to access the showers and toilets buy we couldn't find it (didn't look too hard though). the best route in is through Robertstown. even so there might be some tricky bits for larger vans (we have a 6m camper). what3words is: transports.attracted.coasted.
Highly reccomend. The one toilet was open so I didnt need a waterways card. A very friendly gentleman living on his boat was talkative. peaceful at night, busy with walkers throughout the day. construction going on nearby started quite early but I was awake anyway. lots of wildlife. im tempted to stay another night!

Totaal eens iets anders langs de waterkanalen staan. Je kan een lus wandelen tussen de kanalen die parallel lopen. Wandelaars, vissers, woonboten- en plezierboten eigenaars. Een rustig nacht gehad.
un site très sympathique. Douches et WC accessibles avec une carte (je ne sais pas où l'acheter). Je confirme que les WC handicapés sont ouverts et propres. Des points de raccordement électriques qui semblent être destinés aux bateaux à quai sur le canal.
A nice overnight parking spot. Along a canal. Popular for walkers during the day and you might meet up with some narrow boat owners moored alongside. we didn't use the services available but from the outside the toilet/ shower block is well maintained and lots of electrical hook-ups points.

Lovely location. 21/10:21. Access to toilet and showers using a waterways card which can be purchased in nearby shops. The toilets were locked but there was access to the disabled toilets. Water obtained from the boat water stand on the quayside near the toilet block. A popular walking route for locals. A few fishermen were there late at night. One other Motorhome at location but lots of room.
Schöner Platz an einem Kanal. Übernachten kein Problem. Interessante Gegend. Toiletten und Dusche vorhanden. Für die Duschen muss man im Laden vorne Karten kaufen. Kein Strom, Frischwasser oder Blackwater. Zufahrt ist Sackgasse. Für WoMo 8m aber kein Problem.
Excellent flat parking with lots of room. Nice walks along canal. Just spent a very peaceful night. Toilets look clean, they have notices in saying no chemical toilet disposal.
