Little wet and bumpy on the way in, worth the little bumps to get to such a lovely spot. parked up for the day and hopefully staying tonight.

VERY bumpy on the way in, but lovely little spot next to the water, secluded and private. There’s a small area of level ground parallel to the lake where 2/3 could fit, otherwise you’ll definitely want ramps! 4G signal on EE, 3G on Three

Perfect spot! Spent two nights undisturbed. Some dog walkers but no through traffic. Phone signal and 4G. Lakeside, peaceful and gorgeous. One territorial swan. Space for 5 vehicles. Not flat but fine if you’re ok with a little slant or have blocks.

Lovely spot, however was asked to move on by a NT ranger in the early morning. Also a bit noisy due to the ferry being very close.

Amazing place to stay. So peaceful and right on the water, wasn't bothered by anyone ! Highly recommended

Stayed here for 1 night. Excellent spot, fantastic views. The swans don't like you being down near the water they shoo you off 1 way or another. They let u sit outside your van up on the embankment though :) will definitely return.

Great spot along the lake. Sought after but not as busy as the ordinary car parks. It is on National Trust land and entrance is close to the Ferry terminal (see photo).

Brilliant location, no problems, great for casting off with your paddle board or doing some fishing. The road down there isn’t the greatest we were in a LWB transit not a big issue tho

Even on a wet night was a lovely view. Defiantly a bumpy and wet road to get down but very quiet us and one other family. Would defiantly recommend!

Lovely place, stayed for two nights. First night just us and second night a few more people came by. A little polluted in the woodland areas so watch out for that but fantastic view and very quiet as other reviews say.

We stayed the night on 7/8/2020 with 4 other vans and a couple of smaller cars. Great spot right on the lake! Doubt you’ll find anything as quiet and secluded right in Windermere. A little bit muddy and small road to get in, which the navigation doesn’t pick up, but not difficult to find.

Great quiet spot for vans or small vehicles. Rough unpaved track to access- may be impassable in heavy rain. Right on the lake. Owned by national trust and path leads to someone’s property but we had no problem for a night. Please leave no mess- no bins or facilities here.

We got here late about 9.30pm, three vans here, space for about 5 - stayed one night no problem

Great little spot, stayed overnight when it got late and I didn’t want the drive home.
