(V93 X3XY) Kenmare - 3-5 Pier Road

Nice spot. Saturday was busy early august, quieter in the week. Water tap near the house wall opposite sculpture. Nice morning swim. Look after this spot….

This is a beautiful spot which locals understandably also want to enjoy. We are responsible Campervan users so we appreciated when we were asked NOT to park in front of the houses and we moved further down.

Beautiful spot on the road approaching the pier. Wide road, plenty of space to park and not block residents view. Very quiet. Kenmare also has a motor home service area and there are laundry facilities here as well as next to the Supervalu. There’s also public toilets next to Supervalu, the service area and elsewhere in to. Lovely town.

The actual pier has signs clearly stating no campervans but the road on the approach to the pier displays no such signs. I checked with a local living on this road who said it was fine to park on the road, just avoid blocking the beautiful view for the residents.

Guarda just confirmed us expressly that overnight stay is not prohibited. Autorisé pour la nuit sur la route d’accès. Jeté interdite aux camping-cars .

Lovely place and despite there being a couple of campervans there are very clear "no camping" signs at jetty and along the approaching road.

A really nice spot at the end of the jetty and also on the roadside just before the jetty, and only a 5 minute walk into the lovely town. As the jetty sign stated 'No Camping', we decided to have dinner before moving on. One of the locals asked us to move further down the road as they said it would encourage other motorhomes. We declined, had our dinner as planned and then departed.

Endroit où il est effectivement autorisé de se garer dans une zone illimitée. Très facile d'accès. À 10 minutes à pied des restaurants et des pubs. Par contre, très exposé au vent.

Il y a en effet un panneau « no camping » au bout de la jetée. Mais ils acceptent les camping-cars jusque aux habitations. Il y a des panneaux qui délimitent. Superbe endroit près de l eau très pittoresque. Par contre arrivée avant 18h car le coin est très prisé

Parking à la file indienne dans une rue qui mène au port, cul de sac. Très peu de passage fin de journée, très calme la nuit. Sport très agréable, avec une jolie vue sur la mer. Attention places limités du fait de devoir se garer entre 2 panneaux qui limitent la zone. WC à côté de l'église ou dans le centre commercial près du Lidl.

Excellent spot for the town, was very busy last night, arrive early for a chance of a spot. The town has a lovely atmosphere at night. This weekend was the bank holiday, maybe that’s why it was so busy?

4.8.19 Netter Straßenrand Parkplatz, ist voll bis Anschlag ;-) 25-30 Womos ruhig in der Nacht.

Lovely spot with plenty of room. Parked at side of road leading to small harbour adjacent to grased area with benches. Beware when opening habitation door if low like ours as pavement is very high. 10 minute walk to pretty town with lots of bars and restaurants. Clean community toilets opposite church in town Very quiet.

Wir sind zwar nur kurz hier, um dieses kleine schöne Städtchen anzuschauen. Finden es aber supi schön und gemütlich.

Super, très bonne nuit, vue exceptionnelle, ville juste à côté.

Ce n'est pas une pancarte overnight mais no camping. Nous étions 5 camping-cars garés le long du trottoir (pas côté herbe), la "garda" est passée. Pas de problème. Mais pour l'eau !!

Pancarte no overnight vous n'êtes plus les biens venu

Très calme à 10 mn à pied du centre ville
