Haugh Woods Carpark - good hard standing spots in a remote, quiet location surrounded by nature. Numerous parking bays, many with their own picnic bench set into the woodland. No parking fees.

It is simply what I love. great spot. lot of forest to walk. there are wider tracks as well as the small paths if you feel adventurous. have a great night. will stay here longer and again

We stayed here in our 6.6m motorhome and had a peaceful night. Found a flat spot. Lovely area with picnic tables. A few vehicles arrived after dark but soon left. Busy in the morning with dog walkers. Would recommend

Loads of space, picnic tables, surrounded by woodland. Other vans parked up. One car of rowdy youth dem in the night blaring tunes, but not for too long. Loads of dog walkers in the morning, but none at night that we noticed...

Gorgeous spot, flat with plenty of space. Only downside is very slow Internet connection. 3G at best.

Very quiet. Spent 2 nights there with no issues whatsoever. Good signposted walks from the car park. Very poor internet connection.

Lots of space for campers...we ended up using a whole bay as car park was empty when we rocked up at 9pm. Nice and quiet, a few cars coming and going every now and again, we're guessing for reasons stated in the previous review :) but really didn't bother us. Nice location for a walk in the morning.

Very beautiful spot. we arrived late and there were a few other campers. can't give it a 5 star because it appears it's a slightly popular dogging location but they didn't bother us and the benches were brilliant for breakfast in the morning

A beautiful car park in a really nice setting with good walking and particularly suitable for mountain bikes. We had a quiet night with two other motorhomes, no late night pumping stereos or big bore exhaust hatchbacks. the 4G signal was very patchy but ordinary phone signal was fine.
