A beautiful spot close to the river. We spent a good evening/night but in the morning (6 am) a ranger woke us up. He told us it is forbidden to camp in the wild in Slovenia (in general, no sign was at the parking spot) and that we have to leave. He was really nice and polite and did not fine us.

Great location just 7 minutes on foot to the center of Velden and Lake Wörthersee, with numerous sports and leisure activities in the immediate vicinity! The parking space is located in the center of Velden, directly at the intersection of Augsdorferstraße and Süduferstraße and has electricity, water, chemical toilet disposal and free WiFi. ATTENTION only max. 24 h break possible! However, after the 24-hour rest, you can drive to the Arnoldstein rest area in the Dreiländereck or the rest car park in Pörtschach am Wörthersee and rest there for another 24 hours.
