stayed 30.11.2023 quite night can recommend the sandwich bar
Gratuit, très grand, calme, à l'abri de la route principale par les arbres (très peu de bruit de la circulation). Aucune restriction de stationnement, donc la nuit n'est pas un problème. Un fourgon de burger très agréable / propre fonctionne dans le labyrinthe de 07h00 à 16h00, vendant de la nourriture et des boissons chaudes / froides.
Free, very large, quiet layby sheltered from the main road by trees (very little traffic noise). No parking restrictions so overnight is not a problem. A very nice/clean burger van operates in the layby from 07:00-16:00hrs selling hot/cold food and drinks.
Freie, sehr große, ruhige Liege, die durch Bäume vor der Hauptstraße geschützt ist (sehr wenig Verkehrslärm). Keine Parkbeschränkungen, daher ist das Übernachten kein Problem. Ein sehr schöner / sauberer Burger-Van fährt von 07:00 bis 16:00 Uhr in der Raststätte und verkauft warme / kalte Speisen und Getränke.

MoongazingMama15/05/2023Perfect spot for self-contained campers. Lots of space for multiple vehicles. The spot is sheltered from the main road and wasn't too noisy at night. There is a portaloo available for emergencies and a burger van that opens in the morning. Good little spot for a quick stop.
minty202106/04/2023Ideal stop over on a journey from Brighton to cornwall. Bit of road noise but it didn’t disturb me. Nice bacon sandwich from the food truck in the morning.

large lay by, great for overnight camping, shielded from road. shaded area was slightly uneven ground, unshaded ground was flat. no facilities available. some road noise but not too disruptive and overall recommend!
Prinana12/07/2022A wide off road lay by loop to the A358. Quiet at night. Felt safe. No facilities. Leave as you find it. Seems to be a known stop for truckers to take a mid-morning rest stop here. Would overnight again if passing through.

Good safe stop over, off road and no problem overnighting. Us and one other camper and a lorry when we stayed. Bit of traffic noise from about 06.00

Solo female in motorhome travelling in my first week. I felt safe and secure here and I was the only overnighter. Traffic noise is definite Earplugs is recommended.

Let down at Ham Hill so came here and pleasantly surprised. Quiet night followed by an excellent breakfast from the food pod which opened at 7am.

Great place. Only one there on a Friday night. Sheltered from the road by trees but still a little road noise. Food van arrived in the morning so had a great sausage & egg sandwich for breakfast
