Kilmacthomas Greenway Car Park in the Main Street, you can park down by the river in the car park on the left. The car Park is hilly , but level down by the river. There are toilets across the road and fresh drinking water beside the fire station. Shops and pharmacy in Main Street.

Parking van de Greenway in Kilmacthomas, bij de brug in Main Street. De parking is nergens vlak maar u kunt aan de linkerkant naar beneden rijden en naast de rivier parkeren. Daar is het vlak. Er zijn toiletten en drinkwater aan de overkant van de weg naast de brandweerkazerne. Winkels, restaurants en apotheek in Main Street.

Stayed here two nights whilst we cycled the Greenway. Very peaceful and quiet beside the community orchard. From the car park, go down the gravel track to the left of the old mill building and park on the level ground at the end of the mill building beside the community orchard.
Great, peaceful location by river and community orchard. Right beside greenway for cycling and walking. Tuesday night very quiet in village. Good Centra shop for supplies. Public toilet good.
Genial. Eben, dunkel, gratis Wasser, gratis WC, Apfelbäume, nur wenig Camper kacken hinter die Fabrik, fast alle benutzen das öffentliche WC. Deshalb liegt kaum Klopapier herum.
Small market in the car park every Thursday from 9 to 12. Fish, flowers and plants, homemade jam, very tasty sourdough bread and beautiful pastries. Restaurant Eamo & Ró in the village serves very tasty dishes and desserts, all home made and freshly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast, lunch and in the summer also dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Mooie rustige plaats bij de rivier. Water inslaan kan bij de brandweer. Nacht was zeer rustig en stil. Gelegen naast een fietsroute. Kan je heerlijk fietsen op een goed uitgeruste fietspad van ongeveer 60 km . 23 km van deze parking tot eindpunt aan de kust.
Extrem ruhig, Verpflegung in der nahen Umgebung, wunderschöner kleiner Ort und bequemes Parken. Mobilempfang eher mittelprächtig.

Excellent. Ne pas hésiter à descendre dans la partie gravillonnée le long de la bâtisse désaffectée comme nous l'a indiqué une habitante. Un autre fourgon qui nous a dit que l'endroit était super, calme et en sécurité. Je confirme dès toilettes très propres et l'eau près des pompiers
A great place to stop over, The town has most things from centra supermarket which even has a 24hr laundrette at rear, pubs, To eateries including fish & chip shop Chinese, and then the Friendly locals not forgetting you are right on the 'Green way'!. A Gem.
A good stop with water/toilets/shops nearby. For us felt a bit strange parked down near where young kids play in the evening but that was just our feeling and had a really quiet night.

Brilliant spot, we were one of 3 vans, lovely locals, toilets seem to be open from 9am. Lovely walk along greenway, quiet spot at night. Lovely clean area. We initially came only to fill up with water (cannot connect, push tap to fill bottles only) but decided to stay as was such a great spot and we didn't want to drive more. Comfortable and calm enough to sit outside van on chairs in the day.
Stayed 28/5. Very pleasant stay. Great access to the greenway and the parking is beside a green park area. No facilities but public toilets area available in the town about 3 minute walk. The town has everything you need some great pubs and a supermarket. One downside was dogs barking until about 11pm but nothing after that until morning. Would stay again.
Ganz toller Parkplatz. Ebene Parkfläche hinter der stillgelegten Fabrik, nahe am Flussufer: wir haben dort in unserem Dachzelt übernachtet. Sehr geeignet dafür. Mit dem Zugang zum Frischwasser gegenüber bei der Feuerwehr sowie die öffentlichen Toiletten (super in Schuss) fast wie ein kleiner Campingplatz. Super. Nur zu empfehlen.
Super spot by the river. Drive past the old building to park by the lawn of an orchard.
Good spot. Two other vans about the night we were here. Flat. 200m from the Greenway with a path connected to it. 100m from public loos and water tap.
On greenway in town but out of the way plus nice and flat.
Ground not too wet after a lot of rain Nice quiet place. level down at the front of the old factory. Good coffee shop here and good traditional fish and chips across the bridge. Always like to leave some money where we stay.
Lovely & quite here, it’s right on the greenway so you can walk & cycle the greenway,
