Prairie verte avec vue spectaculaire. L'un des endroits les plus impressionnants que j'ai trouvés à Pinde. Sur le chemin de Katarraktes Refugio, il suffit de parcourir 200m sur terre. Approvisionnement en eau, à côté d'une petite chapelle et randonnées possibles (jusqu'à Katafidi). Je n'ai pas essayé de faire le chemin de terre jusqu'au Refugio mais cela en vaut peut-être la peine (et même être possible avec 2 roues motrices).
Green meadow with spectacular view. One of the most impressive places I have found in Pindos. On the way to Katarraktes Refugio, you only need to go 200m on dirt. Water supply, next to a little chapel and hikes possible (up to Katafidi). I did not try doing the dirt road all the way up to the Refugio but it might be totally worth it (and even be possible with 2wd).
Grüne Wiese mit spektakulärer Aussicht. Einer der beeindruckendsten Orte, die ich in Pindos gefunden habe. Auf dem Weg zum Katarraktes Refugio müssen Sie nur 200 m auf Feld fahren. Wasserversorgung, neben einer kleinen Kapelle und Wanderungen möglich (bis nach Katafidi). Ich habe nicht versucht, den Feldweg bis zum Refugio zu fahren, aber es könnte sich absolut lohnen (und sogar mit 2WD möglich sein).

Un spot digne d’un vrai 5 étoiles. Nous sommes seulement venu pour un pic nique mais serions bien restés pour la nuit. Un grand terrain plat, avec une vue époustouflante face aux montagnes. Présence de chiens croisé poneys (impressionnants mais inoffensifs). Un vrai plus d’avoir de l’eau juste à côté.
Great spot in a large flat clearing. Access no problem though google sent us through a fairly windy village 10 mins before the spot. We found fresh bear scat in the field so take normal bear precautions. There is a campfire spot in the field far from nearby trees. 5 or so cars of locals passed by between 6 and 8pm, but seemed friendly and waved at us. Nearby waterfalls are dry June-November
Very beautiful, safe, peaceful and clean place with water supply and easy access. Very close to the traditional village Katarraktis and the mountain Katafidi with many hiking routes!
Beautiful place, flat, easy access. Road to upper refuge is good gravel road. Only last 200m is more slopy and I recommend to use low range. I did it with Sprinter L2H2 4x4.

Große Rasenfläche mit wundervollen Blick, eine kleine Straße führt hier hin, Schotterweg aber nur ein kurzes Stück. Freundliche Hirten kamen vorbei. Die Wasserstelle war zur Zeit nicht in Benutzung
absolument génial ! frais la nuit mais tellement reposant. facile pour s'y rendre.
