10/11/23 . arrived here on a cold dark friday night . no one around. one other van came and stayed a distance from us. settled in all good with the slight fear of another review on here of boy racers and idiots arriving. no one did and slept like a log. woke up to crystal clear views of the north lakes. will stay again but i would advise you are exposed to the elements here JJ

Excellent views and entertainment. Saturday night in May, so loads of lads up here with their pocket rockets- I love cars, so was in heaven. And the view was pretty good too! :) lots of lovely grouse noises as well! Flat and spacious- I parked next to the container and there’s picnic tables. Looking forward to a nice walk in the morning :)

epic view, great drive up here if roads is your thing. Quite a fee potholes, but easy to dodge round in daylight. A few people up here to watch the sun set. A few Jack the lads about 9pm but didn't stay too long. Phone signal is strong. definetly one I'll come back to.

My second attempt at parking here - scared off the first time by boy racers. They were back again last night but I stood my ground. Park towards the back of the car park near the shipping container before it gets dark and you might get a less disturbed sleep. Views are amazing.

Beautiful spot with views over the Lake District and the coast in the distance. Spoilt by loads of boy races, revving, 360s, music, etc. It was a Saturday night so might be better through the week.

Spent a very windy night here in Dec 21 - no other vans. Dark skies, peace and quiet, lots of space, decent 4G and a good dog walk (storm permitting!) A couple of cars came and went but we were alone by 10pm.

Incredible views, basic car park, just a catering van that wasnt open, very windy. locals coming and going for selfies and dog walks but once it got dark they go. Just me and another van

Large car park. Lots of parking. Amazing views and one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. Cafe open during the day. Quiet after 7pm. Three bars of 4G.

Nice views across to Lake District fells, but would be very windy in bad conditions as its very exposed.
