No problem with the slope in the car park. Dog friendly and great local pub, made to feel welcome by all. Although bar didn't open until 18:00 parked up at 12:30 no problem. Great stopover in my opinion and will visit again highly recommended.
stayed here overnight in our campervan. Food was lovely, a very friendly pub, the owners have really made the pub the best it can be. Dog friendly too. We stayed in the carpark which is hardstanding. You will need levellers as the car park is on a bit of a slope but no problem. We were offered the field if it wasn't muddy. Would recommend a stay there.

Nice little pub, happy for you to stay if you buy a drink or eat there. Poor signal on Vodafone but the pub had WiFi. Car park is slanted but some spots are better than others.
Good stopover for one night. Called about 10pm to see if they had room and they were more than happy for us to head over. Had a drink when we got there in a very busy village pub which was great to see! Toilets open until the pub closes but no other facilities. Phone reception usable, one bar of 3G on Vodafone but there was WiFi inside the pub. Only downside is that the car park is on a slant.
Great country pub with lovely people and stunning food. A fabulous stopover for a bit of luxury. There are local alternatives if you just want a park-up.
Can't praise enough. Warm welcome free to stop if having something in bar/restaurant. food is amazing! Restaurant not pub grub, but proper treat. Will come back.
Parking un xic inclinat, però amb possibilitats de fer caminades en un poble d'ensomni. El nou propietari del Pub es una persona encantadora, oberta i disposada a qualsevol ajuda. pagaria 20 pintes per passar la nit aquí. Dilluns i dimarts tancat de moment.
Très accueillants la guiness bien fraîche ! Calme et paisible au bord de la pâture. Nous avons juste du caler le van. Village de pierres typique. Sommes étonnes du manque d'accueil de ce genre en Angleterre Sud.
Extremely kind owners let us stay, even though they weren't open. We went to the pub down the road and came back for an extremely peaceful sleep. Woke up to see a beautiful sunrise over the field. We can't wait to come back on a day when the pub is open to thank them! Only downside is sleeping on a wonk, but if you don't mind this or have levelling ramps then we highly recommend!
Absolut ruhige Nacht verbracht. Auch gut gegessen. Der Platz ist etwas schräg aber mit Keilen gut auszugleichen. Um 2030 Uhr wird schon dicht gemacht aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Da ist dann auch gleich der ganze hübsche Ort schon dunkel und ruhig ;)
Friendly landlord, which is the most important criterion of course. Had some drinks. Slope doesnt bother us. We are self contained, so don't need services. I cycled up to Shipton Hill on my ebike. Great trek. Skittles night when we stayed.
Parked here last night. Good choice of food including veggie options. Friendly pub atmosphere and dogs welcome. Peaceful night with just occasional cars parking in morning doing school run. Decent size chocks needed for levelling van.
Stayed here for the 1 night (2 nights ago). Pub closed early at 3pm as it was a Bank Holiday but Landlord said (when I telephoned) that it was fine to stay and that he would be around the following morning. Very quiet little village. Pretty pub. Car park slopes slightly. Met the Landlord the following day as predicted. Great guy
Muy amables. Nos dejaron quedarnos sin problema a pesar de tener la cocina cerrada y no ofrecer comidas, pedimos algo de bebida.
The Loders Arms ist ein gemütlicher Pub mit einem schönen Biergarten und einem wirklich sehr guten Essen aus frischen Zutaten. Der Betreiber ist sehr gastfreundlich. Die Übernachtung auf dem hinteren Teil des Parkplatzes ist mit Keilen kein Problem. Es ist nicht beengt. Hinter dem Parkplatz ist eine Wiese, auf die man schaut. Das Dorf ist sehr schön. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
Great pub stop over..beautiful view over a little field...we were greeted and made to feel very welcome by the landlord..Sadly we were too late to eat but the beer was great...we will be coming back..would definitely recommended a visit.

Don't be fool if you think this pub offers you fresh water and toilet drainage facilities. Apparently, the pub has a new management since a couple of month ago. We ordered food and drink but being told there are no such services since you are not staying with us for night.
Lovely night here, Very friendly unfortunately we arrived to late for food but still had a very good and welcome pint or two. locals very welcoming and slept well very quit, car park is on a slope but soon sorted with ramps booking recommend.
Very happy to have us however it’s a small car park that’s on a distinct slant. Also the road to the pub is narrow in places.
This spot is not working when the pub is close. We called and they said we couldn’t stay overnight.
