Lovely place but no bins or toilets

gerrysheanon06/09/2023Perfect place for a stopover. Clean, quiet, level and so near a blue flag beach. Mayo Co. Council have provided and maintained toilets and waste bins. Listening to the curlew at night and the corncrake in the morning has made for a perfect place to stay. Friendly locals and a lovely pint in both Una’s and Cormacks. What more could you ask for.

Super parking tout neuf avec plusieurs emplacements assez longs pour les grands camping- cars. Et des toilettes propres. Et directement sur la plage.

A fabulous stop here!! and the portaloos are looked after so well, toliet tissue and hand towels on hand all the time. It's quiet at night! . a local dog caked dolly may visit you if you stay here, and if she does, don't worry, she's a local beautiful lady who lives in a nearby farm and lives to take visitors for a walk!

Stayed at this location in September gone by, toilets picnic bench and waste bins are at this site. Activities in the area include tours of famous Blacksod Lighthouse and trips to the Inishkea Islands Highly recommend staying here!

ruhiger platz, übernachten kein Problem. beim schönen wetter ist hier sicherlich mehr los und der hund darf dann nicht auf den strand. 2 mobiklos und mülleimer.
Kevingillett25/07/2022A very peaceful quiet little spot just a short distance from the beach. 2 portaloos very clean and bins, No fresh water, No bother from the locals just nosy cattle over the fence. Arrived late in the evening and discovered the no camping sign the next morning but had no issues over night.

Good 4G, great beach with toilets and a bin ! Only a small car park but not very busy even on a Saturday in July, maybe different if the sun was shining, no sign forbidding overnight parking

Just a lovely lovely place to spend a night. Quiet, beside the beach, some houses not too far away (feels safe), portaloo (well maintained- we saw two people come to clean it), sheltered. The beach is gorgeous. Really enjoyed waking up beside such a beautiful and quiet beach. No other services. Locals v friendly.
