What a pity. This used to be a great overnight stop within walking distance of the town. Now a big sign saying no overnight parking as you pull in.☹️

  • 4/5

No signs visible to say no overnight parking. There is one further up at the end for the jetty.

  • 1/5

    No overnight parking.

  • 5/5

don't put any hopes on the toilets as they just give back coins. Nice spot but indeed busy, and many campers parking parallel for that (so little spots for anyone else)

  • 4/5

Excellent off grid stopping place. Park nearer the town for easy access to pub, takeaway and toilets if open. Cars congregate at far end until late. ( not boy racers but they would disturb ). There is a very small unofficial No Parking sign but the information boards ask you to make a donation for parking so it would infer that it's OK to park. Lochore meadows a short drive to empty waste.

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING signs now. Try the other spot north east on Loch Leven (though that can be very muddy).

  • 4/5

Great place for an overnight stay, large spaces, feels safe and very peaceful nights sleep. We have a 7.5m motorhome so parked lengthways across parking a bit later when it’s quieter with dog walkers parking up. Toilets still out of order. Lovely scenery overlooking the Loch, and a good walk round, or cycle, about 13 miles. Small narrow road to get to the parking Highly recommend though :)

  • 4/5

Good spot to park. Didn’t stay but was a great stop for a break en route north.

  • 3/5

Really lovely spot. We stayed the night and did the walk round the Loch. Ideal for the dog but watch out for blue/green algae. Spotted a NOP sign the next morning though. It’s a small sign on your way jn down the lane.

  • 5/5

Great parking spot, although the toilets were (temporarily?) not accessible.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night. Very quiet night. Three other vans. Quite windy so no midgies. Great views over the loch. Toilets were clean. You need 20p to enter the toilets. Good 4G signal.

  • 4/5

Amazing views over the Loch, very quiet all evening. Felt very safe, there were a couple of other vans here. As you would expect, lots of bugs! Free but there is a suggested donation sign for overnight parking which can be done online. Will definitely come again!

  • 5/5

Great lock side stop over apart from local lads turned up in cars kept quiet and no problem apart from they just threw there rubbish on the floor and drove of and us tourists get the blame ha ha we did the right thing and cleaned it up.

  • 5/5

Great location - parked up overlooking the Loch, very quiet night, dog walkers this morning, the locals were very friendly and a few of the dogs came to say good morning, we left as the park run started. Toilets were cleaned first thing, 20p - would definitely recommend

  • 5/5

Nice views, quiet. There was a no overnight parking sign on the lane down but no signs by the parking. At the far end there’s even a sign with a suggested donation of £10/night for campervans so definitely not prohibited! Toilets 20p.

  • 1/5

Went today to park up. New no overnight parking signs have been put up. Only small but still there.

  • 5/5

Great spot though can get a bit busy with cars driving up at night. toilets lock during night.

  • 2/5

Okay for parking for the night but dare to go into town when dark as there is no road or path lights. The one toilet was in no fit state to use as it hadn't been cleaned and the the tap for washing hands didn't work.

  • 5/5

Highly recommend. Arrived last night at 7pm for an overnight stay. 2 other Motorhome’s and 1 camper van here. Great grassed area and views over the Loch. Quiet night. 24 hr toilets at a cost of 20p. Thank you Kinross Council.

  • 5/5

Spent 2 nights here in 7.5m Motorhome. There is one small no overnight parking sign in one spot but plenty of Motorhome’s and no trouble. Lovely view. 13 mile walk around loch. Lots of coffee shops in town, coop and Sainsbury. Slight slope but no trouble.

  • 3/5

Close to the town so get groups of people until 10ish, pretty quiet after that other than the church bells ringing at 1am?! Nice location on loch edge, reasonably flat, 7.5m home fit, however on a slight slope at night. Plenty of picnic tables and pay per use toilets if required

  • 4/5

Free parking, very quiet, no passing traffic, nice view of Loch Leven, toilets open 24/7 for 20p. Slightly uneven spaces. Would recommend the ‘courthouse’ for food in the village only 5 mins walk away. Outstanding pizza!

  • 4/5

Nice stop next to Loch Leven. It was busy during the day and had some cars coming and going until around 10pm, but very quiet through the night. Toilets available with a cost of 20p. Brilliant play park for kids close by.

  • 4/5

Nice secluded park, a couple other campers about but very quiet place and nice lake view. Good for a walk if you’ve got the time. Toilets for 20p (must have exact change). Only issue was midgies... HEAPS of midgies

  • 5/5

Parfait! calme, vue superbe, sur le départ du sentier qui fait le tour du lac, tables de pique-nique.
