Bel endroit juste à côté du zoo. Il y a quelques pavillons à proximité où vous pouvez pique-niquer. Il y a une ligne de bus qui va directement au centre-ville. Quand il n'y a pas de spectacle dans le théâtre, il y a beaucoup d'espace là-bas.
Nice place right by the zoo. It has a couple of pavilions nearby where you can picnic. There is a bus line directly to the city center. When there's no performance in the theater, there's a lot of space there.

A perfect place for visiting Thessaloniki if you don't want to sleep on the street. There is some trash but we've seen much worse in Greece. Locals come here during the day and in the evening but didn't bother us. It's possible to find an even surface but most is at an angle. The bus line 24 to the city center is every 20 min. AB shop 10 min on foot. Very weak internet during the day.
WARNUNG Selbst wenn man es geschafft hat auf diesem sehr grossen Areal einen halbwegs Ebenen Parkplatz zu finden, so kann ich nur abraten. Hatte meinen Van für 2 Tage (zu Fuss ist man in 15 - 20 Minuten im Zentrum) und mit 2 Übernachtungen hier stehen. Ergebnis: es wurde versucht sie Fahrertür aufzustehen. Loch im Blech und Schließzylinder hinüber.
I do not recommend the place to stay overnight. It is very disgusting. Lots of garbage everywhere and it stinks.

Wir haben 2 Nächte auf dem großen Beton Parkplatz geschlafen, etwas schräg. Nachts recht ruhig, man hört aber die Schnellstraße. Schön ist es hier nicht, aber okay. Wir haben Polizei und Feuerwehr gefragt und durften hier stehen. In die Stadt zu Fuß 30 min. Der kostenlose Zoo, ist nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Bei Veranstaltungen im angrenzenden Theater wird es voll und laut.
Nous avons passé 2 nuits sur le parking et n’avons eu aucun problème, la nuit été calme. Le bus est assez aléatoire, nous donc avons pris le taxi au centre ville est payé 6euros pour nous ramener.
Je retire une étoile car il y'a beaucoup d'aller et venir jusque 2h du matin j'étais sur les gardes avant que le sommeil l'emporte

Eigentlich ein super Übernachtungsplatz, haben gut und ruhig dort geschlafen. Als wir am nächsten Tag von unserer Stadttour zurückkamen, war allerdings die Scheibe eingeschlagen und das Wohnmobil ausgeraubt. Zum Glück schienen sie nur interessiert an Bargeld, nicht an Elektronik.
Be aware that if there is a play in the theatre (usually from 21:00 to 23:00) the place is fully occupied of parked cars and you have no chance to reach it at all. Going to the city by walk is OK in direction centre, but coming back you have to climb 150m above the sea level. The bus does not observe the timetable, it is unreliable and to buy a ticket, you must have exact charge.
Amazing spot with nice views of the city. Busy with couples and people hanging out for sunset but was quiet at night.
Very littered yet beautiful spot in the nature about20 mins walk into the centre. You can take bus 24 it takes you there too(buy ticket from kiosk by the zoo or in the bus machine for 0,90). We stayed 3 nights. (Sunday night bit loud). We gathered loads of youngers come here for fornication at night or you might spot daring couple during daylight in the bushes. Other than that make sure you visit the park on the hill for the views.Zoo is free and not much to see there.
