Townhall parking kan gebruikt worden om te parkeren tegen een redelijke vergoeding van 3 pond op basis van vertrouwen. Houd er rekening mee dat van zaterdag op zondag de parkeerplaats niet gebruikt mag worden. Klein dorpje zonder faciliteiten. Gewoon prima plekje om een nachtje te slapen.

kleiner Parkplatz, geschottert, relativ eben, direkt neben der Strasse, haben ihn aufgrund fehlender Alternativen in der Gegend angefahren, 10 Pfund nur für parken erscheint viel, aber was im ganzen Lake District für Preise fürs parken oder übernachten aufgerufen werden, waren wir froh einen Platz zumindest für das Geld zu finden, daher dennoch empfehlenswert, guter Internet- u. SAT TV Empfang
Worth arriving after walkers start to depart circa 3.30pm ish to get a spot but surprisingly we're the only van here so far on good Friday evening. Great walk to coniston over the fields, but don't be tempted to turn it into a circular walk and come back past the land rover garage as there's no path and the cars get a bit close. awesome spot. thank you.
Used to be a favourite spot on the way into the lakes but the prices have now changed to £5 per day and £10 per night which is a bit much for having no services other than a reasonable car park. Will use if we're in a bind and have no other options but feel it's a bit too expensive now the price has doubled...
Parked here last night (Wednesday night) . Had the car park to ourselves. There is plenty of room for more than 3 to park (as it states on here), more like 6 campers I would say £5 in honesty box. Not much noise after 9 with the odd racer going past. Nothing heard after 11. Great for stargazing as there are not lights around. Also full 4G coverage on phone (Vodafone).
Great little spot. stayed the night quiet after about 8PM. good pubs close by and a nice little cafe and art studio a short walk away.
Busy little spot in the day with walker's cars but empty by about 7 on a Tuesday night and had the carpark to ourselves. Right next to the road but after about 9 the traffic dies right down and had no trouble over night. Coins only honesty box at £5 for the night (even though someone seems to have tried to stuff notes in the slot the coins still go in ok) or £3 for the day.
Great place to overnight - very quiet and only £5. We also parked during the day to head out for a walk - the day fee is £3.
Lovely peaceful night even though the road is right next to the car park. road was very quiet during the night. £5 for over night, we were the only campervan here. Had a meal and drink in the Wilson Arms. Great food, log fire and friendly staff.
Overnight stay in a campervan. We were told by residents staying in the pub/campsite next door that we would be fined if we stayed in the church car park but the church warden was on site and said it is fine to stay overnight as long as you pay the £5.00 contribution in the box. Only gave 4 stars as you do get a bit of traffic going past.
Nice little village with a pub and a shop. Traffic noise from the road but I slept well. Don’t forget your donation! ☺️
