Nous avons adoré cet endroit. Belles vues.

We have loved this place. Beautiful views. We have just spent 2 nights here but as we were leaving this morning, the council were there getting the height barrier reinstalled!! 7ft!! So thank you Penmaenmawr for some great stays, met some lovely people.

Nice spot a bit noisy with traffic ,barriers always open and loads of vans here

  • 4/5

Plenty of spaces and I had the place to myself all night. Traffic noise from the A55 didn't bother me. Lovely views. Toilet block is clean but it does get locked at tea time.

  • 3/5

Beautiful, but sadly there is a sign here prohibiting overnight camping with risk of fine/legal action if you do.

  • 4/5

Stayed her last night and, although we could hear the A55 traffic (especially as it rained most of the night), we slept well enough and the view in the morning was worth it! Just a couple of other campers also staying overnight so plenty of room.

Incredible views to wake up to of the beach. The noise of the motorway didn't bother us. Locals were friendly and the dog loved it too! Would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

Right on the beach, not many people around. Short walk to the beach front cafe. Easily access the town via an underpass under the road. Kids play area and splash zone on the promenade. The A55 is quite noisy. Lovely views to wake up to.

Stayed 1 night on 05/09/21, hard to find in the dark - don't follow sat nav up Bangor road and take a right at the little roundabout then follow round until you reach the promenade. Had a wonderful misty morning dip in the sea, amazing views to wake up to. Lots of other vans but also lots of space! Locals very friendly.

Okay, Dog ban on main beach 1st May- 30th September. At low tide, been told dogs can go on the far ends to the beach. Nosie from the A55. Only just got me van parked at 6.3 long. Nice views make up and a nice sandy beach, when tide out. Stay here last night no problems.

We have a LWB and there were plenty other LWB vans. The first lot of parking are longer, however we park further down and we’re able to go over a broken bollard which there are plenty off which means we fit. Toilets cafe and bins, right on the beach. Great spot. Slight noise from the road above but nothing bad.

I don't understand why this is so highly rated? The spaces are 'tiny', even for a regular car. Can't use overhang because of bollards. Only consider if you have a a VW camper of a small van.

It is a lovely spot on the edge of the beach but noisy as right beside A55, parking bays are suitable for short vans , max 6m . Police patrols have moved on people parking across the bays. Don’t follow Sat Nav to the postcode and Esplanade . That is a housing estate on the other side of the A55 up in the town. Road gets busy in day and early evening, so would suggest arrive late, leave early.

Lovely place to park. Just to note that a police officer came round and moved anyone who was parked sideways across more than 2 spaces. We were parked diagonally across 2 (we're 7m long) and that was allowed.

Very good place to stay overnight

  • 5/5

Great spot free parking right by the sea

  • 4/5

Good spot, great view, lots of vans, loud road.

  • 5/5

Very nice place right next to the sea, it's parking for the promenade with plenty of spaces and it wasn't busy. No through road so no cars passing, although there is noise and street lights from the main road, but it's not too bad. There are toilets, but they're locked overnight. No signage at all, so nothing about overnight stays and there were a few other cars and campers staying overnight.

Amazing spot, very quite apart from noise from A55. 6m can just fits in the odd space with broken bollards!

  • 4/5

Arrived 5pm, lots of spaces. Walked length of promenade, no signs saying no overnight parking. Police car parked by me having a break, no issues with parking. Note: spaces not very long, my camper 20ft and just fit. Some parked lengthways but guessing not too popular when day visitors arrive. Spaces by sailing club are longer with no bollards but are allocated to club at weekends.

Amazing place to park up.. Toilets now open but close at 8pm.. can't wait to get up tomorrow for a sea swim.

Parked up in Betty our transit conversion... Sea view, only two of us parked up and was very quiet, lots of places to park, stoney beach when tide is in. Toilets were closed because of covid restrictions. Nice little spot for over night and free...slept well...motorway nearby but didnt bother us.

Totally agree, bit noisy, but amazing spot for sunset and good daytime parking spot for when we did the Penmaenmawr to Conwy mountain pass walk. Train back to Penmaenmawr worked out well. We were the only campervan staying overnight, but some fishermen fished late into night and camped in tent on beach, so we weren't the only ones there. Would definitely stay there again.

We've parked here because seen on this app good reviews and I really want to confirm that it's good spot to stay a night. Is a walk way (promenade) close to car park but it's alright ..Very nice view
