Amazing first P4N park up. Lots of other campers. Felt very safe. People commenting that there are no loos or 4G really are missing the point! Amazing spot, sea views, beautiful walk to Kimmeridge Bay.

  • 4/5

Nice park up, great view however it was windy when we were there, and the only area that is level is in the open section at the entrance. Phone signal is non existent both O2 & EE struggled to get more than 1 bar of 3G, restaurant in the village but seems to close at 5-6pm. No bins leave no trace.

  • 5/5

Really nice place to stay overnight, one other van and a car. We could only get connection (EE and O2) at the spaces nearest the entrance and you need to move around a bit to find a flat spot. Really quiet and dark at night.

  • 5/5

Really great place to stay overnight. Internet sketchy unless you park by the entrance overlooking Kimmeridge bay. Well used so recommend getting there earlyish for that prime spot.

  • 5/5

Lovely place right next to the beach very quiet and a good place to go on adventures

  • 5/5

Great park up for the night, we tucked into the front corner, two other vans arrived. Had a great night's sleep hardly any noise and left it as we found it. Mobile signal for us was fine (EE and Smarty)

  • 5/5

Fantastic park up for the night. We ended up coming back for a second night. 2 other vans on both nights so felt very safe. Beautiful village at the bottom of the hill (no shop). 25 minutes walk to the beach. The only downside is very bad phone reception.

  • 5/5

Great location, lovely walk down to the sea. Beautiful sunset. A few other vans when we were there but very quiet and a great night's sleep. You can't hear the road. 5 mins walk down footpath to pub/restaurant.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Wasn’t even loud at night. Some other campers were staying there as well. We went down to the beach at dusk, I wouldn’t recommend that. The “sheriff” wasn’t really pleased.

  • 5/5

Très bonne endroit, à plat, bcp de places, très calme. On peut même monter un peu à pied pour voir la mer. Petit bémol : pas de réseau.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot with view over the bay. Quiet a little busy especially in the morning with walkers. At least three vans was there during the night.

  • 5/5

One of favourite places I’ve found. Super quiet at night with a few other campers so felt safe for a solo trip. No toilets nearby though! Lovely walk to Kimmeridge town and the beach.

  • 5/5

spent a quiet night here with a few other campervans parking a respectful distance away. place was clean. beautiful views and nearby walks

  • 2/5

  • 5/5

A useful night stop, level gravel with space for at least 8 vans but no facilities. It’s an easy walk to Kimmeridge, the surrounding hills & coast offer some top walks.

  • 5/5

Easy to find and quiet. Walks down to the village and bay within easy reach but does include a very steep hill. The nearest bin we could find was well within the village. There is zero signal/4g/3G anywhere. Definitely going to be a regular spot for us.

  • 4/5

Nice free parking. It is ok if for overnight but not to enjoy a quite day. However, you can always spend your day time in the day parking next to the see but you have to pay for that one. I think it could become crowded during peak season.

  • 5/5

Great place for the night. Several other vehicles using this park-up. The flora has overgrown since the main photo was taken but still plenty of room. Would use again!

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Such a lovely park spot. Stayed overnight with no issues. The looking eatery isn’t open too late so factor that in if you are relying on it. Really enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again. The view is beautiful especially if you can park nearer the entrance. Lots of farm animals nearby but they do not disturb you.

  • 4/5

A beautiful quiet spot with access to Kimmeridge Bay. I have stayed here about 10 times - always quiet and safe. Local dog walkers very friendly.

  • 5/5

    Ruhiger geschützter Platz.

  • 4/5

Great little park up… room for 15-20 vans… no restrictions,, very quiet… was told by estates employee it was fine to stay all night… only gave it 4⭐️ due to lack of phone service… which didn’t bother me but take a pigeon in case you need to contact someone

  • 5/5

Free car park with space for about 25 cars. No services, no signs prohibiting overnight parking so it would probably be okay. Nice sea views from the front of the car park. Short walk to the village of Kimmeridge, leading to the beautiful Kimmeridge bay and SW Coast path.

  • 4/5

There are no signs here to say no overnight parking.

  • 4/5

Good overnight spot. Gravel car park surrounded by high quarry walls set back off the road so no road noise. Arrived about 5pm, one other van there already. He'd been there previous night with no bother. Two other vans arrived later, so that made 4 vans and plenty of room for 2 to 3 more. Quiet night. No phone signal or 4G.

  • 2/5

Very quiet and nice views but there is no phone signal and as a solo travel not ideal, would say here if was not on my own

  • 5/5

Great spot near a quiet road with a nice view

  • 5/5

Great spot to stay, short walk down to the sea. If you don’t want to pay further down. Just got to keep it tidy so it can stay open

  • 5/5

Great spot with a fantastic view. We were told that the place is privately owned and the owner doesn’t mind you parking there. But also that they were considering to close it up due to people leaving their rubbish. So if you are there don’t leave anything behind (I hope this is obvious to everyone) but if you see someone else’s trash it would be nice to also take that to keep the place available

  • 5/5

Love this spot! Been coming here for years but today I spoke to the land owner (it's privately owned). They have had instances of people emptying toilets, having fires and leaving rubbish. If this continues to happen they will close the car park... so let's keep an eye out for the disrespectful and make sure that doesn't happen!

Parking de tierra bien nivelado pegado a la carretera, tranquilo y silencioso. Cerca de la costa y rodeado de árboles. Ningún servicio pero gratis.

  • 5/5

Perfect stop ! quiet and with amazing views. The little village is so beautiful and clavells restaurant/pub was great. 1 mile walk from village to the bay was gorgeous. Absolutely reccomend.

  • 4/5

Great little spot. As described previously, it’s an old quarry. Pretty flat, quite a bit of space and super super quiet.

  • 5/5

Easy to find, felt safe. 7-8 other motorhomes there, all large, and could fit well. Very flat. No facilities.

  • 5/5

Excellent park up, what wild camping is all about.

  • 5/5

One of my favourite spots to come back to for a quick peaceful weekend away. Sheltered from the elements and has a wicked sunset over the fields on a good night. Lots of dog walkers, haven’t personally experienced any restrictions and I’ve been a handful of times. I am just a small T4 though.

  • 5/5

Very quiet. Sheltered from wind and rain. Amazing walks down to kimmeridge bay and along the coast. No services but there are public toilets and a water tap down by kimmeridge bay

  • 3/5

Tired to park, but stones blocking entrance - looks a nice spot

  • 4/5

Nice place but parking is currently closed.

  • 5/5

Been told that they (whoever they are) intend to patrol this park up regularly in the near future not sure if they will just disturb parkers or fine them. I used to park here often as I work close by so sad that this is a lost parkup

  • 3/5

Can get quite busy later on and early in the morning with orienteering groups! Also there’s a toll road nearby! (Couple of minutes drive away and the owner chaperones you away at a certain time)
