Parking en gravier à côté de la Tamise avec cale de halage. Pub à proximité (The Flower Pot) Attention voies étroites. Joli, mais la route est très petite et le virage est serré

Paved carpark next to river Thames with slipway. Nearby pub (The Flower Pot) Caution narrow lanes. Nice, but road to it is very small and turning is tight, especially when it’s busy. Not suitable for larger motorhomes

Schotterparkplatz neben der Themse mit Slipanlage. In der Nähe Pub (The Flower Pot) Vorsicht enge Gassen. Schön, aber der Weg dorthin ist sehr klein und das Abbiegen ist eng, besonders wenn viel los ist.

went down there for the whole day such a nice quiet place , only a few dog walkers here and there. Great place

  • 4/5

Nice spot, stayed 2 nights, plenty of other campers/fishermen but no noise in the night, poor phone signal on O2 and tv reception not great using my stubby aerial, narrow one way lane leading to the car park

  • 1/5

Entrance lane from the village is VERY narrow with trees hanging down making it untenable for large vans. If anyone comes from the other direction you have to reverse out. Hotel worker was peeping out of the window - got an unwelcome vibe. Would recommend not visiting this site; it really is a tiny village & not suitable for big vehicles

  • 5/5

Nice place very busy during the day but after 7pm is very very quiet I had no problem with my transit jumbo campervan

  • 5/5

Peaceful spot for a single night stop

  • 4/5

Stayed one night, a few other vans here. Access via the village and quite tight. A pub in the village in easy walking distance. Lovely spot next to the river. Slipway used for boat launches. Had a couple of folk hauling their boat out and loading onto trailer at 10.30pm so a bit of noise involved with that. Otherwise a nice quiet night and no noise or disturbance in the morning. would come back.

good paved stop by the River. Is busy during the day and in the morning with walkers and water way users but a good stopover and paddleboard spot

  • 5/5

The area is now paved and not a mud bath. Very busy with locals using the slipway for the river. Parked up for the night, peaceful night. Early morning activity with boaters and swimmers. Lovely spot, would definitely come here again. Remember to park considerately!!!

Stopped here for one night. Quiet but folk turned up to go paddle boarding fairly early the next morning. Unpaved and puddles when rain but still good hardstanding. Great views and a public footpath through a meadow alongside the river. A few hundreds metres to the Flower Pot Hotel/Pub where you can get a good meal. I shall stop here again.

What a find. Tucked away down (about a mile) a narrow lane (yes, the comments were right; probably not suitable for a large motorhome) but no problem for my VW. Peaceful and relaxing with some friendly dog walkers and river users. Thanks for adding.

Great spot to park up and admire the Thames view , walked to the pub which is 5 mins away . more like museum with many stuffed animals and plenty of fish hanging on the walls . very friendly pub

  • 5/5

Exactly as described. Peaceful and picturesque with a few friendly locals walking dogs or kayaking turning up now and then. Pub very close which we didn't visit but looked decent as we passed. Easily accessed in long wheel base Renault master. Lovely walks all over the place and you're parked right on the Thames Path.

Beautiful spot. reception isn't great inside the van but ok outside

  • 5/5

Great view, quiet, flat, paved, pub 5 mins walk. What more could you want?

Best spot so far! stayed 2 night after 7 people leave but gather back up at 7-8 in the morning. had young people arrive at night b ut wasn't big of a issue. and everyone around was friendly! beautiful view, and footpath that you can take all the way up to the town. different animals around the place too! follow our adventures @ 2.5VanLife on all platforms.

Very nice spot next to the River Thames, good level parking in a good tarmacked area, Rubbish bin and meadows to walk the dog in. Peaceful feeling and quiet night spent here.

  • 4/5

Nice place for staying overnight. All the place is carpeted no humps very clean. Just next to the river and big field which is private property but open for public excess. Very quite at night. Early morning swimmers enjoy in this cold weather. Henley on themes just 2 miles and you will get toilet facility in car park and car park only charge between 10am and 5pm. Maximum you can go with bmw x3 Size car in width because only last bit of excess to this place is narrow but you still try.

  • 4/5

All peace and quiet except for very loud ducks. Nice quiet pub for supper. Brave early morning wild swimmers in the cold water from 6:00am onwards

  • 4/5

Spent one night in a 4x4 camper. Dead quiet in the night apart from ducks quacking ;-) Don’t expect a lie in though - a bunch of swimmers woke us up at 6am, followed by numerous dog walkers. But all in all we recommend the place.

We slept here one night in September with a Motorhome, the access was a little tight but we could manage. We arrive at 9pm and it was just one campervan here, the night was very calm and silent and we wake up with a great view over the Thames River. In morning just a few pedestrians walk around but didn't disturb us at all. Recommend this place for a night stop and morning walk

Really nice spot on the river, good pub up the road and walk around Henley. Was absolutely rammed by 8:30am with families getting ready for a day on the water. Good place to stay but be ready to move on early.

  • 5/5

Narrow Access Road! Lovely site. Arrived about 10pm and was the only vehicle there all night. A small, quiet, free car park area right next to the river. A few dog walkers arrived about 7am, but it was still quiet and peaceful. Note: the access road is single-track and narrow! VW Transporter sized vehicles will be ok. Big camper vans will struggle, especially if you meet incoming traffic.

  • 5/5

Great place, lovely walks along the river. Quite busy early evening but very peaceful overnight

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, managed to get our 7m van down the narrow part of the approach road, just! Well worth the effort, lovely walk into Henley. Good ales at the Pub, stayed 2 nights.

  • 5/5

I arrived late at night so there were just two other campers there (one possibly extra long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter that was comfortably parked at a right angle to the road). Gorgeous spot right by the river. Very nice place to spend a night. It did get quite busy with dog walkers in the morning, and this was on a freezing morning in November!

  • 2/5

Nice, but really tiny road to get to it and very tight to turn round in. Very busy.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Extremely busy during the Summer but we waited to get a spot and it was gorgeous. beautiful view of the river and boats, canoes etc Bit noisy from a dog barking across the river during the night, but just bad luck. lovely position and the pub is fantastic.

  • 4/5

Lovely quiet place very close to the Henley Thames. Yes narrow road. pull you mirrors in narrow

  • 4/5

Is now tarmac very narrow approach road

  • 4/5

1.2 miles of narrow lane, but worth it for a very pretty riverside view. Very popular with dog walkers.
