Short section of General Wade's old road, set back from the A9 just south of Kingussie. Accessed at the northern end of Layby 111, on the southbound side. Screened from the road by trees, clean, okay for a night if you can live with a little road noise. Start of a path into the hills, so dog walks okay.

Stopped by here again on our way north, and to address the previous post, I found it to still be perfectly usable in our SWB Ducato....which is why I deemed it suitable to be added. Clearly, common sense needs to be exercised, as with any spot added on here. Just because it's been put on here, doesn't mean you should just blast into it without taking into account the dimensions of your vehicle!

This is dangerous! I scraped the underneath of my van so badly trying to get up the almost non existent track not signed from a busy road, I'm really annoyed someone would even think this a good place to park its not! You can even get up there without damaging your vehicle. **Edit: Ive had to get part of my exhaust replaced after attempting this, a costly error of judgement
