Great little stop off whilst mid journey. Yes the traffic goes down this road fast, but no more 3-5 cars every few minutes. Daytime stop off for us to cook food and chill for an hour. No signs to say no overnight stopping, but we didn’t need to. A couple of other lay-bys a bit further up on same road too that are about the same size.
quite noisy when cars do go by. wouldn't normally stay so close to the road but there isn't much around here and I've been driving ages. hopefully it's an ok night. loads of rubbish on the ground in front of the sign saying take your litter home. morning update: got beeped at 06.50am someone doesn't like campers here. otherwise lovely quiet place
Quiet with few cars passing but you can keep well away from the road. Only people here. No bins or anything else. Mostly level and no need to use levelers.
Had a good stay over here, quiet night, was me and another camper van no issues what so ever .
Nice quiet lay-by with the odd car passing. The ground is rough but still pretty flat. Set a few metres away from the roadside so no van movement when cars go past. We have good 4G O2 phone signal here.
I stayed here mid-week and found it quite busy at times with cars passing. Fortunately the lay-by is big enough to be parked away from the road, so you're not rocked when cars pass. OK if you're en route somewhere and are passing, otherwise I'd find somewhere nicer. Quiet through the night.
There's currently some building equipment on this layby but there's another one just down the road towards sand hutton, nice and quiet
Plenty of space for a couple of large motorhomes, nice & quiet
Great little place for the night. Very quiet at night with a few cars in the morning. Lovely seeing deer running across the fields in the morning.
