Ce magnifique site surplombe l'hippodrome d'Hexham, le site de course le plus pittoresque du Royaume-Uni. Les emplacements sont principalement en herbe mais il y a plusieurs emplacements plats pour camping-cars / fourgonnettes en face du demi-mètre. Toutes les bonnes installations propres sur place à un prix très raisonnable.
This beautiful site overlooks Hexham racecourse the most picturesque race venue in the UK. Pitches are mainly grass but there are several flat pitches for motorhomes/touring van with electric hook ups. All good clean facilities onsite at a very reasonable rate. Historic Hexham and Hadrians Wall near by. Good stop travelling to Scotland.
Diese wunderschöne Seite überblickt die Rennbahn von Hexham, die malerischste Rennstrecke in Großbritannien. Die Stellplätze bestehen hauptsächlich aus Gras, es gibt jedoch mehrere flache Stellplätze für Wohnmobile / Tourenwagen gegenüber der halben Furlong-Markierung. Alle guten sauberen Einrichtungen vor Ort zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis.

2JJenny16/09/2022Fantastic open views, very friendly and helpful staff, immaculate bathrooms, reliable WiFi and good TV reception. Definitely worth GBP20 with electric. We definitely will be back!

Boechs07/08/2022Die Ebenen Plätze sind gesucht. Es empfiehlt sich mindestens eine Radunterlage mitzuführen. Am Fahrzeug gibt es immer eine windgeschützte Seite. Es lohnt sich einen Tag nach zu buchen, wenn ein Pferderennen stadt findet, da die Plätze eine gute Bahneinsicht bieten.

This site is very windy, even in the summer. Beautiful views over the racecourse but very exposed spot. Make sure you have a 25 meter hook up cable (as your pitch can be quite far from the electric point). Ablutions we’re clean enough but for £20, you would be better finding a wild spot for free.
Crewser2adventures15/06/2022Stayed for 2 nights mid week. Called & booked ahead & paid in full in advance. Very friendly service. Beautiful views over racecourse & countryside beyond. Great laundry facilities with £1 tokens for washing machine & tumble dryer. Immaculate washrooms with showers & toilets. Definitely worth £20 a night.

Endroit idéal pour une alte sur le chemin d'Edimbourg. Le propriétaire est serviable et amical. Le prix de 20£ est parfaitement justifié au regard des prestations (sanitaires impeccables, buanderie, vidange et remplissage d'eau...). Nous recommandons !

An amazing place to stay, views are wonderful, peaceful too. £20 per night inc hook up. showers ,toilets and laundry. DON'T get put off driving though streets of houses as nothing but views of countryside only when get there. follow signs for Hexham race course .Not within walking distance of Hexham if mobility issues. Good parking at local park in town, suitable for campervan
