Scapa Beach has a public car park with toilets and rubbish bins. Beautiful beach with amazing sunsets and clean sands. Can park day and night no signs so free to park about 10 vehicles.
Popular with the local people and dog walkers, it is busy during the day and quiet at night, it's a working harbour at the end of the pier with boats coming and going.
A commemorative garden to the ship Royal Oak is worth a look as this is the site dedicated to the men of the navy who died during the second World War when the ship was defending the Orkneys.

Parfait

Easy place to stay if you're coming off the evening ferry (5 mins drive from the terminal). Beautiful morning sea views and well kept toilets. Plenty of space.

A really lovely place indeed! The toilets are really clean and they even have a cleaning scedule hanging inside the toiletblock. I wish we could leave some money for the people who keep this place clean. We stayed here from Saturday until Sunday and unfortunately people are driving by really fast during the night. Even when it’s a small road along the beach.

Lovely spot visited in the day, we walked the dog along the beautiful beach, used the Commercial waste bin and Public toilets and made and our lunch over looking the sea.
