Lovely place away from any road noise and in the middle of a lovely bit of greenery. We stayed here for 2 nights with no problems at all.

Stay here quite a bit and never had any issues at all. Lovely spot and highly recommend!

Nice car park and park area bit wet in places with puddles but good to walk the dog and be quiet at night but check no gates get locked

Lovely park nearby. When we arrived at 2200ish, we were the only ones in the car park. We slept well, but felt slightly on edge (our first time sleeping in a city, rather than somewhere rural). It was quiet all night until the car park started to fill up around 0700ish with walkers etc who didn't seem to mind us being here. We slept well, would return if in the area.

Nice quiet night with lovely walk in the morning. Toilets available in horticultural centre when it's open. Will probably use again as a stop off during our travels.

Great spot with easy access into Manchester via tram (20 min walk away). I stayed for 3 nights no issues. Toilets next to car park in horticultural centre. Lots of lovely green space to go for a walk and chill/yoga. Dog friendly and next to a playground. BMX tracks around corner. The car park gets very busy during the day from about 10am-7pm (summer holidays), but at night incredibly peaceful.

Confirm the earlier comments. One quiet night, apart from the rain. Police check was reassuring. Great spot.

We have a very quiet night here. The playground, which is within walking distance, is great for families.

In a lovely park! We stayed one night midweek recently and there were two other campers, both very friendly. We weren't bothered at all and it was nice and quiet, hopefully that remains true as we'd like to go back. Some boy racers came by very friendly but not for long, felt safe as there was another camper nearby. Nice place to walk your dog and there's a farm shop too!

Had a very peaceful and quiet night here. We arrived quite late in the dark and there was nobody around, and it stayed that way until sunrise with just the usual early dog walkers and joggers. No height restrictions.

It's a park with many walking routes. The park is quite wild / common but there are often events on to draw attention e.g. Circuses. The road side parking is busy (as is the main parking area). Overnight was odd, several strange encounters put me off including a guy in florescent clothing waving a bright touch in my window as though he was marshalling the site. Lastly, Police patrol this area.

Great place to park, felt very safe with my 2 3yo children. Other people in camper vans parked up when we arrived which was reassuring. Quite and clean.

Stayed here one night, one other camper on the car park and a few cars. Had a quiet nights sleep with no bother and a lovely walk in the morning. Left about 11am on a Saturday bank holiday and it wasn’t full yet.

Great car park, no signage, lots of amenities in the park. A community farm selling produce, toilets, and supermarkets within a 15 minute walk.

Nice place. mostly quiet. the odd other car, possibly just smoking. didn't stay the night.

Arrived about 2100 and left early, only saw one other car. Travelling for work, really handy spot outside Manchester.

Really nice spot to stay for the night :) Very quiet, no gates, loads of spaces and a childrens park nearby. General waste bin but no recycling or grey water point. Can confirm the doggers but they left at sundown :P

Nice park, open no gates. Many dog walkers but car park empties after sunset and no disturbances at night time. Dog walkers arrive at dawn but large car park, no issues. Had a good sleep in peaceful surroundings.
