We found this place last minute in a stormy and very dark night. The owner was so nice and acommodating and very helpful. The toilets and showers are clean and all we needed. And the view is breathtaking, even in the pitch dark- even better in the day. We loved it here and next time we'd stay for longer. Just know the access is via a rather narrow looking bridge. But we managed well with our 2.05m wide camper van. Book on their website or try your luck like we did (almost off season).

We loved this place! We stayed end of the season so it was very peaceful. Great facilities, very scenic location. Oh worth saying we had poor network (vodafone)

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Sehr schöne Region. Campen mitten in der Natur. Grandioser Ausblick auf See und Berge. Sehr freundlicher Besitzer. Ohne Stromanschluss.

  • 5/5

Een prachtige plek met een adembenemend uitzicht. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Huisdieren en radio zijn niet toegestaan.

  • 5/5

Great little site with beautiful views, perfect place to stay if you at walking up snowdon. They have showers on site you will have to purchase tokens for only £1 for 5 mins. There is not much level ground for vans so chocks are recommended

  • 5/5

Stayed here overnight in a tentbox, we didn’t book as we went to the national park last minute but the owner was kind enough for us to still stay the night here £8!!! Lovey people and service, The views of snowdon are what really make this place special (if the day is clear haha!), showers are £1 for a token, you can get wood don’t know the price sorry! Seems they may be changing the rule on dogs!

Good campsite with a lovely location, right next to a lake ! Not loads of level ground so chocs recommended, managed to fit our sprinter LWB in ok. Only downside was no drinking water tap for a hose connection.

  • 5/5

We ended up using this site as a base for our week break in Snowdonia. The prices are still reasonable and the site set in a fantastic location. It is what I would describe as a traditional campsite, the shower block has 4 hot showers (5 minutes for £1 token) and they are a nice size. Each wc has a basin with hot and cold water, so all good. The owner who also owns the farm is very helpful too.

Absolutely adorable spot on a beautiful property. Nice hard standing spot & bathroom/shower block a short distance away. Showers and toilets were very clean, with TP supplied and an outdoor sink too. Thomas was wonderful & gave us tips on things to do in the area. Snowden Sherpa buses route S1 runs every hour within a short walk to the road. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay again!

  • 4/5

Great budget site, pretty views, a decent size field to park the van and basic but adequate facilities. The shower blocks were clean and tidy. We particularly liked being able to walk to the Glyders route from the campsite. Recommended.

    Keine Hunde erlaubt!! :(

  • 5/5

Amazing little place. What a view. Owners friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers super clean, super hot water. You can’t fault the surroundings and the views. For the price of £8 a person £5 for a bag of seasoned logs & £1 for 5 min shower. It’s bladdy laverlay.

  • 5/5

Spent 2 nights here stunning views very cheap nice owner quite and great facilities

  • 3/5

Very basic camp site with truly amazing views. Currently £8 per person so for us that was £16 for the night. No EHU. We were parked on hard standing which had farm trailer on it, not meant for motorhome but adequate. The camping field was wet. On quite uneven ground so not sure how we’d have got the Moho level! Basic toilet and shower block which could have been cleaner. £1 for a shower.

  • 4/5

We stayed for two nights, plenty of spots to pitch up on with lovely views of the mountain and lake. Facilities where good and nice owners with lovely dogs

  • 5/5

Fantastic camp , beautiful views and lake access ;)

Spent 1 night here, wish could have stayed longer. the owner and his dog were so welcoming, helping me find the perfect spot to set up and I got the best view over the lake! amazing sunrise! toilets with sinks in each cubicle and separate showers. lovely hot water! sink for pot washing. can't fault the place..£8 per night

Really lovely spot with amazing view of a nice little lake. Really friendly owner and very cheap - only £8 for the night.

  • 5/5

Great site ……£8 . Nice view of the lake and snowdon , stayed 2 nights .

  • 5/5

Stayed 3 nights in our Hymer B544 (2.2m wide, 3.5 tonnes). Entrance looks tight but we took it slowly and fitted fine. Most of site slopes but there are relatively flat areas (bring ramps). No electricity. Strong 3G signal on Three. Farmer owner very polite. Walk to Capel Curig along hillside, opposite side of road. No dogs as working farm, sheep roam the following camping fields. Great place.

  • 3/5

    Sadly no pets allowed.

  • 5/5

Lovely campsite, stayed here in my roof tent and the view of the lake is great, toilets and shower block are clean, washing up facilities, welcoming farmer, really recommend!

  • 5/5

Stunning 360 views. Clean facilities and a friendly welcome from Thomas!

  • 5/5

This is actually at R O Jones and Sons (see map at other end of Lake). Easy to find, we showed up in middle of storm Francis. Sign said bookings only, but I rang and farmer was friendly. Basic campsite with very beautiful views.. Lots of fire braziers and in the sunshine, you can swim in the lakes surrounded by mountains. Showers £1 for 5 mins.

  • 5/5

Extremely beautiful. Camped right by the lake, incredibly peaceful. What an absolute gem ❤ the map is a bit deceiving, it's on the farm at the other end of the lake.

  • 5/5

Unbelievable views of Lake and mountains. Like middle earth!
