Very quiet spot. I stayed for one night. Only disappointment was, it says there is 3G and 4G but on Vodafone I couldn’t get a signal at all. Because of that I had to move on sooner than I had planned as I rely on internet for work.

fantastic spot in nature, level quiet, only us. felt really welcome. some dogwalkers

I arrived at this spot at around 1700 on 12th December 2021. There is a small concrete bridge to get you in to the parking area which could be easily blocked to stop you getting out. Left me feeling uneasy. Good mobile signal on the 3 network and good tv reception. Very muddy. Little bit of a slope but you can find a flat spot if you’re the only one there. Better places nearby.

I stayed here Sept 2021. lovely quiet park up. perfect for dark skies. few dog walkers up until dusk, then was just me. one other camper came after 9pm. Had a nice walk around the forest. Shame there's no bin, and seems a few local dog walkers couldn't be bothered picking up. I picked up after my dog and put in next bin on my travels.. Apart from no bin, a good park up. Leave no trace.

Stayed here last night! Free to park (no signs) Small car park, a few spaces. Was very quiet - a couple of dog walkers. We had a very peaceful night. Nice trails for walking. No amenities (including no bin)

Fabulous little spot. free overnight parking as a trial initiative. Lovely little stream to park alongside. Very dark and very peaceful. There was a few dog walkers but nothing after 8pm. Plenty of space for a few campers. Couple of nice walks around the forest too. No toilets or bins so take your waste away with you. parking for 1 night only, a ranger checked the carpark at about 5am.
