Fabulous secluded parking. Room for 2-3 medium/small vans. The uphill lane is a bit steep and has potholes to keep the speed down and keep a stable nerve as its only short route through the reservoir to the parking lot is very smooth tarmac. Very quiet location with several lovely walks aliong reservoire or up to the nose of Teggs itself. There are no facilities other than a bin and it is a very busy car park during the day. No cycling on nearby trails - its part if the stone rock trail.

Fabelhafter abgelegener Parkplatz.

I've stayed here over night a few times, lovely spot. However, arrived this weekend and there are now multiple 'no overnight parking, number plates will be recorded' signs. Which is a shame, so just be mindful

Lovely spot in a secluded car park, lovely walks and local pubs, everyone very friendly. Dog walkers arrived about 06:00

Stopped for a night, great little car park. Felt well out of the way, walks were plentiful and there’s a lovely little pub in the village that takes dogs. No sign excluding overnight parking, but obviously don’t expect facilities other than a bin. Was really quiet and we only shared with one other car who went off camping anyway. Early walkers, so set your alarms if that bothers you.

Lovely spot. Walk down to the St Dunstan Inn. Quiet pub with great grub. 7m Crafter fits ok and as long as you are gone before it gets busy on Sunday you will have no problems. Walk to the top of Tegs Nose and watch the sun go down.

Totally agree with all comments. Good spot for an overnight. By 5pm car park was just about empty and ours for the night.

Very flat and all round nice spot. Would return

Stayed here last night, beautiful location on the edge of Macclesfield Forest & a short walk away from the St Dunstan pub which serves amazing food & beers.

Great parking to stay overnight, quiet, couple of rubbish bins, no toilets

Great spot and so quiet. Seems to be lesser known. Narrow steep road coming in but well worth it.

Lovely quiet spot in rural area. Approach from west through Langley - turn is an acute coming east. We followed satnav from Buxton going towards Wildboarclough, final 3 mls very narrow single track with few passing places; best avoided. Road up is narrow as said - definitely not for the faint hearted in 7 m moho and better not at all in this size van. But a lovely location when we got here.

Top spot in a beautiful location. fairly steep lane to get here but we'll worth it. Views are wonderful, so far very quiet but it's only 7.30pm. would certainly visit here again for a night's stopover. No facilities here.

Stayed here again. lovely spot. 7m long motor home no issues getting in or out. space for 3 or 4. gets busy in the morning with walkers and runners.

This is a fabulous 5 star stopover, with beautiful surroundings and walks around the reservoir and up through the forest. Very peaceful and safe. Idyllic!

Smaller vans only really due to tight turn in and stone walls - Transporter, Transit size fine. Great for an overnight on our way home from the Highlands.

What an awesome spot. It’s beautiful, peaceful and safe.

Lovely little secluded spot, had the place to ourselves but it got busy from about 8am with walkers. Loads of beauitful walks up Teggs Nose and round the res. Will certainly be back!
