What a wonderful stopover,we were made very welcome…as in previous posts the parking area is quite sloping but that didn’t bother us as the food made up for it..you’ve got to have the belly pork ..not the healthiest option but you’re only here once…lovely staff who can’t do enough for you and the beer/cider is good will definitely be back…
We only had drinks, but it was a really lovely pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We politely asked if we could stay and as per the other reviews was not disappointed. Very sloped car park but once most cars had gone we managed to find lvele ground with our ramps. We liked it so much we have booked in for a Sunday Roast. Definitely would recommend.

Lovely pub. Staff made us very welcome. Wish we could have sampled the food but ferry arrival time didn't allow it. Would recommend..... only 45minutes from Plymouth Ferry Port!! Accommodation also available. Car park fairly level and plenty room when we arrived at 9pm.

Great find!! As long as you spend some money in the pub they are more than happy to have people stay in vans. Space for larger motor homes too. Food was amazing and the whole pub had such a nice atmosphere. Car park isn't very level but we managed to find a couple of spots that were okay. Will defo return again. Also dog friendly! Only downside is obviously the pub was closed at 9am so no toilet.
Lovely pub, asked if I could park my van for the night and was made very welcome. Helpful and brilliant staff, stayed for drinks and meal all of which were very nice. My grandson (5) particularly liked the hot chocolate. Would highly recommend even if not looking for somewhere to stay. Large garden and locals were also great. Will look forward to seeing them again soon.
Lovely pub with really friendly staff and locals! Arrived only half and hour before kitchens shut and they didn’t make us feel in the way. Asked at the bar if we could stay in the car park. Menu and selection of drinks very good! Car park is on a bit of a slant though so maybe some chocks needed!
I asked if I could park for the night and was made to feel very welcome. Locals and the landlord are very chatty and very pleasant. Charley asked if I was OK for essentials water etc. I would recommend this to all motohomers as a place to park. please spend a few bob on a couple of beer's or a meal.

Lovely pub with the best garden. Great owner who's happy for campers to park up, just buy a few drinks or a meal and introduce yourself. He's also installing a tap in the carpark soon so you can fill up your tank when staying.
Lovely pub and great food. We stayed here in the car park over night for free and had a lovely meal in the pub. Charlie is brilliant and very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
I used to work at this pub and frequently stayed in the car park in my van (fulltime van dweller). The landlords, Charlie and Amy, welcome anyone who spends money in the pub to overnight in the car park for free.
