Had one night in January to travel from the south west to Leeds to visit family tried on the off chance by others recommended this park up no other vans or people until I woke up nice little spot clean area sheltered with trees slept well will save for return trips as it’s only a small drive from the M1

Great place to park. Little bit of road noise but quietens down. Some locals come in there cars but are quiet. I used this spot for 3 nights. Vans did use it and were friendly. Dog walkers early in the morning. Would recommend.

We stayed here on Christmas Eve for the night. Lots of car activity in the car park throughout the night and at 2.30am someone walking with a tourch lit our van up. At 5.30am blue police lights lit our van. There had been an accident with a car and it was a right off, no other cars involved! Bizzar night indeed!!

Pleasant and quiet. Lots of space but did get some sideways glances from some locals. After doing an hour or so of litter picking the place is now certainly cleaner. Let’s help keep it tidy so we can continue using this site

For a stop near to the motorway for smallish campers it's as good as you can wish for! Deserted at night, lots of dog walkers in the morning. Nice and green with a view over a little field. Only about 10mins from the A1.

Trash issue seems to have been remedied by a bin being installed, though it was full. The horse box bays are now marked as horse box and maintenance only, so longer vehicles may struggle. I was in a MWB transit and did fine though!

A absolutely strewn with rubbish, beer cans and take aways. Nowhere else around here to go to, hence it is busy day and night. Police came round about midnight. Music stopped about 12.30am, dogs started at 6am, full up by 10am. There was however no trouble or strange behaviour toward me.

Convenient little spot minutes away from the motorway and reasonably distanced from the 3 cities around. Shout out to the other Park4Nighter’s comment who gave me the kick to pick up some trash as I was cleaning and tidying my van. A police car came patrolling in the evening and the morning, most likely to check any ‘antisocial behaviour’. They only waved but didn’t bother me so felt safe.

We stopped here last night, the site is relatively level and clean. The horse box parking mentioned in a previous report was spot on for parking and by using left plenty of parking for other users ensured we didn't upset any one. The car park is close to the Pennine trail, there is a small lake near by for those who like walking, beautiful views in the area.

Good little stopover. Nice and quiet overnight, a few dog walkers and cyclists came and went, all friendly. My husband picked up some litter around where we parked. We didn’t want to give camper vans a bad name so left it tidy. Nice dog walks and children’s farmyard with cafe.

Excellent location beside Transpennine Trail and Worsbrough Reservoir. The water bailiff advised we park in the horse box designated area (2 spaces). Good for walking and cycling, lots of dog walkers coming and going but quiet overnight.

Our first Campervan trip! Nice, reasonably quiet spot, right on the Trans Pennine Trail. A few cars came and went, up until about 11pm. Dog walkers and cyclists from 6.30am. Next to Wigfield Farm too, which kids will love.
