Le parc de Penauta possède une belle forêt délimitée dans laquelle se perdre, avec deux aires de pique-nique, des points de vue, à l'intérieur et sur la côte, et des dolmens. Les petits camionnettes pourront entrer dans la zone forestière sans trop de problèmes et même dormir à côté de la zone de loisirs de Pena Queimada. Nous l'avons fait plusieurs fois avec la camionnette. Bien que le chemin de pierre et de terre comporte de plus en plus de trous. Pour la climatisation, je recommanderais de rester à l'entrée, à côté de la zone de loisirs de Penauta. Vous pouvez vous garer sur le côté de la petite route qui mène aux moulins à vent. Maintenant, avec la climatisation de 6,5 mètres, nous avons pu manœuvrer sans trop de problèmes, mais il est clair qu'il n'y a pas de parking en tant que tel. Vous pourriez aussi dormir ici mais la présence à proximité des moulins à vent donne déjà une bonne idée de ce que le vent souffle ici. Soyez prudent avec le GPS car si vous partez de la côte la dernière section vous mettra sur une route compliquée. Le mieux est d'aller à Boal ou Rozadas et à partir de là, cela vous indique déjà sans problème.

Der Penauta Park verfügt über einen wunderschönen, abgegrenzten Wald mit zwei Picknickplätzen, Aussichtspunkten im Landesinneren und an der Küste sowie Dolmen. Kleine Transporter können problemlos in das Waldgebiet einfahren und sogar neben dem Erholungsgebiet Pena Queimada schlafen. Wir haben es mehrmals mit dem Van gemacht. Obwohl der Stein- und Feldweg immer mehr Löcher hat. Für AC würde ich empfehlen, am Eingang neben dem Erholungsgebiet Penauta zu bleiben. Sie können an der Seite der kleinen Straße parken, die zu den Windmühlen führt. Mit dem 6,5-Meter-Wechselstrom konnten wir jetzt ohne große Probleme manövrieren, aber es ist klar, dass es keinen Parkplatz als solchen gibt. Sie könnten auch hier schlafen, aber die nahegelegenen Windmühlen geben bereits eine gute Vorstellung davon, was der Wind hier weht. Seien Sie vorsichtig mit dem GPS, denn wenn Sie von der Küste aus fahren, bringt Sie der letzte Abschnitt auf eine komplizierte Straße. Das Beste ist, nach Boal oder Rozadas zu fahren und von dort aus zeigt es Sie bereits ohne Probleme an.

El parque de Penauta tiene un bonito bosque acotado por el que perderse, con dos merenderos, miradores, tanto hacia el interior como a la costa, y dólmenes. Las furgonetas pequeñas podrán entrar sin mucho problema en la zona de bosque e incluso dormir junto al Área recreativa Pena Queimada. Nosotros lo hemos hecho varias veces con la furgo. Aunque el camino de piedra y tierra cada vez tiene más socavones. Para las AC yo recomendaría quedarse a la entrada, junto al área recreativa de Penauta. Podrán aparcar en el margen de la pequeña carretera que lleva a los molinos de viento. Ahora con la AC de 6.5 metros hemos podido maniobrar sin mucho problema, pero que quede claro que no hay un parking como tal. También se podría dormir aquí pero la cercana presencia de los molinos de viento ya da buena idea de lo que azota el viento aquí. Ojo al GPS pues si vas desde la costa el último tramo te meterá por una carretera complicada. Lo mejor es ir hasta Boal o Rozadas y de ahí ya te indica sin problema.
