Remote gravelled parking area. Benches, gorgeous views (inc. the sea). Protected from wind by banks.
The litter is the usual - McD's trash & beer cans etc - however there were no louts whilst I was there.

Fern geschotterter Parkplatz. Bänke, herrliche Aussicht (inkl. Meer). Von Banken vor Wind geschützt. Der Wurf ist der übliche - McD's Müll & Bierdosen usw. - aber es gab keine Lümmel, als ich dort war.

Stayed here Saturday night, pretty big pot holes upon entry, but our Transit Custom coped fine. Space for 5 vans max, site is opposite a sharp bend, so choose you parking space wisely. Not very level, some road noise as their is a steady flow of traffic up to the youth hostel, cafe and shop at the top of the road. Nice views on a sunny day.

I would give this 5 stars, but for a group of boy racers in the early hours. It was a Saturday and they didn’t bother us , so don’t let that put you off. Stunning views and reception on 3 mobile was ok .

Arriving after nightfall, the parking entrance looked rather precarious, rutted and potholed. After closer inspection with additional light, it was easily passable with a little caution. A beautiful spot with a view over the Channel and plenty of signposted walks. No services and 4G a little patchy on Vodafone. The whole carpark has a slight incline, so choose your spot wisely ..

What an absolutely gem! Beautiful view and when we were there, it was very clean in the day and peaceful at night. There were a few cyclists/ walkers but everyone is very friendly! There’s a hostel 20 minutes walk away which has a café, restaurant and shop - they also have water taps where we filled our water bottles. Overall, we’d highly recommend this for a couple of restful nights with a crackin’ view! ?️

sehr schöne Aussicht. Nur ein paar Wanderer und Hundebesitzer waren da. Starker Wind vom Meer, auf die Ausrichtung des Fahrzeugs achten.

Really quiet and covered from wind. There were cyclists and hikers passing by but everyone was very chill. We were all on our own for the whole evening and night. Up the road there's a hostel which has cafe service and allows us to refill our water bottles and tanks. Will definitely keep this location for future usage!

Probably our scariest night in the van. We were parked on a Sunday night on our own. At midnight a group of drunk teens crashed their car into the lot, barely missing our van. They must have been going way fast, we heard the car lock up and skid for what felt like minutes. Everyone was fine, but there were no apologies - they laughed actually. We left immediately after.

So far my favorite spot. Amazingly beautiful surroundings and views with several options for walks, mountainbiking etc. Loved every second of my two days here. The litter situation is horrible though but seems to be made by local youngsters. Had to clean three times in two days.

Roof top tent camper. Managed to find a level spot, might not have been so easy with other cars/vans. Had a small car and camper pull up after me around 10pm. Had some kids drive past around half 10 who, strangely, shouted stuff through the window. Other than that quiet night and good sleep. Here in basically winter so can’t comment on the situation in the warmer months.

After filling 3 rubbish bags using our litter picker it’s a much nicer place anybody to stop for the day or night please help us all in the van life community by doing your part. It only took about 30 mins and the photos of our van were much better with stunning views. It’s such a lovely quiet spot to relax.

Relatively secluded spot with great views. Perfect for a stroll across to Devil's Dyke (approx 12km there and back). Spent two nights here. Easy enough to get a level spot if you're not incompetent at manoeuvring your motor. Dog walkers, horserists and walkers in the morning, but no bother. Few houses up the road so a little traffic a.m./p.m. Rising Sun pub short walk away.

Endroit très agréable, quelques jeunes de présents à notre arrivée qui sont vite partie. une très belle vue au réveil et de quoi faire des randonnées. c est un très bel endroit et très calme. Accessible avec un camping car de 7m50.

Lovely park up, surrounded by countryside and nice walks. 3G/4G was ok on EE. No bins around.

The Silk Road comment below me seems to be leaving a lot of comments about graffiti and damage to their van in the local area. In fact they managed to stay in 2 places at once if you check the dates of their reviews We found this place delightful for a night, very flat and protected!

It's all on a slope and quite a bad slope. Horrible night sleep. It's also very tight and in the morning we had trouble getting out. People also complained about us parking there overnight.
