Lovely little place. Some traffic noise but that didn’t bother us apart from the few truck drivers who felt it necessary to sound their horns at 3am. Perhaps they are troubled that people are quietly sleeping when they are working but forget that nearly every house they pass at this time will also have sleeping people. Come on everyone, let’s be a bit kinder and more tolerant!
Looked like a nice spot, next to a gentle stream, little traffic from the road and Loch Doon just round the corner. Unfortunately this is the West half of Scotland so the bugs were a bit thick at this time of year. We will likely visit again but after September!
