Only single lane lay by. It is not possible o ce parked up for another vehicle to pass. We decided not to stop.
Lay-by avec espace pour environ 6 véhicules (peut-être inapproprié pour les fourgonnettes plus larges), la route se calme le soir, de belles vues sur Holy Island.
Lay-by with space for approx 6 vehicles(maybe unsuitable for wider vans), road quietens in evening, lovely views over to Holy island.
Rastplatz mit Platz für ca. 6 Fahrzeuge (möglicherweise ungeeignet für breitere Transporter), abends ruhigere Straße, schöne Aussicht auf die Heilige Insel.

Stayed here on 10/7, only van there and got a nice spot in the evening shade. Only problem was in the morning with flies

Good overnight stop. No issues. Leave field gate clear for farmer. Very clean, quiet layby - behind gorse hedge to road, bin available. Plenty of room for a few 7m MH View from gate across fields to sea. Close enough to Banburgh castle & Holy island. Leave it tidy be a shame to lose this stopover location. All carparks near castle have height barriers now.

We didnt stay here but drove past it after a night in the other lay-by on Budles Bay. Wish we'd stayed at this 1. It's much smaller but sheltered from the road and traffic by a large hedge. Still stunning views across the coast. We didn't stop so no idea on facilities.
vhanger25/09/2021Quiet nights sleep. Footpath of walking route closed. (Possibly because cows were in it with adolescent calf). One toot in morning but otherwise not much traffic at all in lay-by. Bin available. Stopped over 11.09.21

Lovely quiet lay-by set off the road separated by a hedgerow. There is a bin if needed. Room for at least 6 motorhomes or campervans.

Lay-by is off the road behind a hedge. Great views from the corner. Sheltered from wind. B Road has regular flow during the day.
