Polegate ,South Downs Way

Parked up here a number of times throughout the summer. Wanted to get back in October but couldn't.if you have a low van or a trailer be carefull as the ground is very uneven and when it is wet dont go to far in or you will get stuck

Went to park but it is very bumpy and didn't want to trash our underside. Also there was a car and van parked that looked like had been there some time. The owner of van came out with large dog and scowled at us. We beat a hasty retreat!

Two security guards also informed us of not being able to spent the night here. perfectly fine to spent the day, but no overnight parking

Beautiful spot with great views of the country side. Two extremely lovely security guards with their dog informed us about the neighborhood getting annoyed by messy travelers defecating into the bushes and dumping rubbish. They let us stay, no problem if we respect the land. PLEASE EVERYONE take your trash and be more respectful. If you don’t it puts a bad light on all travelers!!!

Beautiful view of the downs. there were two security guards that were sleeping in a car there to prevent people using the piece of land being used as a toilet as lots of people have left a mess and toilet roll everywhere and locals and dog walkers and families getting annoyed by it. they were happy for us to stay as long as tidy. basically leave the pooing outside to the animals

I confirm what has been said. Good place for van but camping car are maybe too large to come through the little road. Quiet during the night.

Bumpy going in stick to the left I have a 6m was ok. Lovely views spent few nights here had no issues very quiet at night. Meet a lovely couple and their dog helped me out a lot and had good night of food and beer with them.

Schöner Platz mit schöner Aussicht, die jedoch von einem Misthaufen etwas verbaut wird. Der Platz hat viele, sehr tiefe Schlaglöcher. Leider liegt viel Müll im Gebüsch. Wir haben etwas Müll eingesammelt und entsorgt.

Bel emplacement, beaucoup de bosses. Déconseillé aux camping-cars et jours de pluie. En van parfait.
