A really lovely motorhome stop. We had a quiet nights sleep surrounded only by quintessential English pastures. There are several flat gravel pitches with enough space around them to put out the awning should you wish and each pitch has a picnic table. All services are working and it has a very clean toilet for campers to use. £21 for 2 adults and a MH is great value.

My friend and I stayed in 2 separate Motorhomes last night for just £20 per van per night including electric! So quiet and peaceful! The site is lovely and clean and level! And Craig the owner was so accommodating, helpful and Friendly. Thank you we will be back.
Functional site for a stop over. Quiet. Bottom section flat, others were sloping. Only 10amp ehu available, couldn’t use it for the fridge or any other appliances so not worth it if you have solar. Dog walking limited if you can’t pick your dog up and carry him over stiles.
Lovely clean and friendly site. Every pitch has a bench. Owner is lovely and friendly. Dog friendly, just needs another toilet so your not panicking ha ha
Perfekt! Alles was man auf der Durchreise braucht, zu einem fairen Preis. Solche Plätze sollten es mehr in UK geben.
Très bon accueil, emplacements spacieux et au calme.
Propriétaire très sympathique qui met à disposition toutes les commodités nécessaires sauf douche. Espace paisible et très bien entretenu avec vue sur les moutons au lever. Nous nous y sommes arrêtés à l aller et au retour. 15L sans électricité 5L pour l électricité. Vidanges eaux grise et noires plein eau possible. Un toilette propre et entretenu à disposition est un véritable plus!!!
una area da 10 stelle!!! il proprietario Craig è simpaticissimo e disponibilissimo, c'è anche un piccolo bagno che splende! meravigliosa la location, in aperta campagna. inutile dire che abbiamo passato una notte tranquillissima. 20 sterline per 2 adulti, il van ed anche elettricità. complimenti Craig e molte grazie!!!
Buen lugar para hacer una parada y llenar/vaciar la autocaravana, ya que escasean las áreas por esta zona. Instalaciones muy limpias y trato perfecto.

Brilliant campsite, has everything you need and in great location surrounded by fields. Very well kept and clean toilet facility. We have visited several times and always come back. Ran by a lovely guy called Craig who is extremely helpful and friendly. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
consigliatissimo. io prediligo la libera, mi in UK bisogna un attimo organizzarsi con l'acqua, qualche passaggio in campeggio o area a pagamento è da fare. questo posto è bellissimo, tranquillo, nel mezzo di prati verdi e mucche, tenuto benissimo e ben organizzato. costo ragionevole.
Ein perfekter Platz und ein freundlicher Besitzer. Wir brauchen keinen Strom und hatten mit 2 Personen im Kastenwagen für 15 Pfund einen Wiesenplatz. Ver- und Entsorgung sind vorbildlich. Danke für diese Initiative, davon müsste es mehr geben.
Craig runs a delightful site close to Penrith. We're overnighting on way home from Scotland. No shower or hot water, but great value at £15, (£19 with EHU). Simple and secure online payment.

Cracking site, easy to find, great welcome and all facilities. Well laid out, plenty of space and far reaching views across the countryside.
Awesome place! High recommended. I only stayed for 1 night while passing through but slept so well in the peace a quiet. Very safe. facilities are simple but have everything there. Very clean and maintained. I'll be back!
Craig at Crossfells was absolutely spot on! Very basic campsite but perfect for what we want. Very clean and tidy. Think it was roughly £20 for a MH 2 adults and 1 dog. Would recommend

Small,clean, friendly site charge is £19 per night with electric the site does have a unisex toilet but no showers lovely stopover highly recommended.

Lovely site, lots of space, beautiful grass, clean toilet with a field view and a friendly host. Level pitches, some picnic benches provided, brilliant motorhome service area for reasonable price!
Lovely Campsite. Craig was really welcoming and friendly. We'll thought out site, plenty space between people, flat pitches lots of electric hook ups and taps around. we were £16 with camper an 2 kids no electric.
Great little stop off close to the M6 and North Lakes. Well maintained grass site in lovely countryside. Friendly owner who let us check in late after a long journey!

Great little stopover place especially if your Scotland bound as its minutes off the M6. £18 for the night with EHU. Facilities are clean and easily accessible . Thank you Craig. Superbly friendly and good value. £17 per night for two persons and van with 10a EHU. They were actually closed but we were desperate to stop for the night after a gruelling drive of non stop traffic tailbacks heading north on M6 and they very kindly allowed us to stay the night. Cannot praise them highly enough!

Very neat and tidy campsite. £12 per night for motorhome and 2. £4 for EHU. All you need for a night in a self contained van. Toilet and Grey water emptying facilities and fresh water filling. We stayed here one night and found it quiet and comfortable on a hardstanding pitch without EHU.

Descansamos y cargamos luz y agua de camino a Edimburgo. La autocaravana con dos adultos, 2 niños y electricidad son 17£ (nada caro viendo los precios de por aquí). lugar muy tranquilo. dueños muy amables.

Aire parfaite. En pleine campagne et pas loin de l'autoroute. Nous avons payé £10 sans électricité. Il vaut mieux réserver si besoin de l'électricité. Sinon il y a beaucoup d'emplacements sans électricité. Services pour eaux grises et toilettes au top. Attention pas de douche. Pause super pour notre retour d'Ecosse !
Accueil super sympa. Les 5 emplacements étaient pris, mais j’ai eu l’autorisation de stationner sur l’herbe qui est très sèche (sans électricité). Payé 10£.
