Was a wonderful spot. Now has newly put up - No Campervans or overnight camping.

  • 5/5

Great spot exactly as described below. We arrived in the middle of the night and were on our own. Sunday morning came and there were lots of dog walkers then dozens of mini footballers and parents. Car Park essentially full. Would definitely stop again.

  • 5/5

By far the best park-up I've stayed at. Slept really well, dog walkers made little noise and didn't bother. Signs mentioning campervans making a donation for car park upkeep, although they haven't done any maintenance for 7 years according to a local and there are lots of potholes in parts. Pretty quiet all day long. Stayed 2 days. Would deffo come again.

  • 5/5

Arrived at 1900 hrs. completely empty. The signs for the estate state 'No overnight parking' for camper vans etc but the actual car park sign for the sports centre which is completely separate to the estate asks kindly for a donation if you park for the night to help maintain the car park. A very peaceful night's sleep with no interruptions..

  • 5/5

Overnight parking allowed. We stayed here last night and checked for signs. There are NO signs to say no overnight. Indeed the sports club requests a donation for motohomes/camper parking. Gorgeous spot with walks from the door. Very quiet. Bins.

  • 1/5

just a heads-up within the last month signs have gone up. No campervans,no motorhomes and no overnight parking. Such a shame as this was a great location :(

  • 4/5

Uneven ground but lots of space & plenty of room for a motorhome. Popular with dog walkers (& horse riders) but nice and quiet

  • 4/5

open space, lots of parking. can get wet and boggy under foot in heavy rain. stayed a couple nights no issue. public bins and a nice cafe with outside tap you can use. Nice walks in the woods but very isolated and wouldn't recommend walking to Shere after our terrible experience! Not wheelchair friendly. Signal was mostly okay. Friendly locals and sometimes other people staying.

  • 5/5

With the woods behind and the open view of the green field in the front. Very quiet and flat, the parking is maintained by the local club. It is free but there is a QR Code if you would like to contribute

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

Great, as described and right by a gorgeous footpath too. three other campers there and plenty of space. potted ground - would be a nightmare if it had been raining so would avoid for wet weather but for a dry day it was perfect. sign saying essentially "it's free but consider donating to help maintain the car park" and specifically mentions campers in the list so we are not unwelcome at all

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful! I got here at about 7.30pm and only 1 motorhome here. Enormous car park. Early dog walkers only. A peaceful night and my favourite thing…waking up to a beautiful view!!

  • 5/5

Spent a quiet night here. Hardly any noise from the road, felt very much out in nature and I was the only person here after 9pm. Car park mostly used for dog walkers during daylight. There's a voluntary donation to use the car park as it's part of the football club. No bins so please take your rubbish home and leave no trace.

  • 5/5

one of the best Park ups I've visited. make sure we leave the site as we find it so it remains accessible. there are qr codes located around the site to facilitate donations if you are able to. overnighting is permitted. no height restriction. phone signal good!

  • 5/5

Fabulous spot. Easy to park overland truck, no height restriction or over hanging trees, level, parking allowed so do donate to the sports club if you can as they maintain the car park. Fantastic walks from the door. Quite busy with walkers/dog walkers/horse riders during the day but we were on our own all night. No boy racers/shady people. Felt very safe.

  • 5/5

Absolutely fantastic park up! Only us and a smaller van overnight, very quiet plus sheltered. Lots of walks to explore. Signs up with details of where you can make a donation and we definitely will be as it supports the football/cricket club that allows park ups. Few dog walkers around 7am but even they were quiet! Arrive towards dusk to guarantee a space but it is a big car park.

  • 5/5

Great little place to park up very quiet at night a few dog walkers arrived early morning

  • 4/5

Convenient spot for town access & parking. Busy but quiet at nighttime.

  • 4/5

nice spot with some walks in the erea! camper/van friendly, clearly indicated on the signs along the parking lot. Bit close to the street. didn't stay for the night.

  • 5/5

Nice stay for a night. In the evening it was empty but on saturday morning it got full with football players, dog walkers and some horse riders. Nice place for some walks in the woods.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 8.10.22 arrived late to some other campers, no hastle at all, walkers arrived around 7 and football at 9 saturday morning, popped into cafe for coffee. Cant complain at all easy access and undisturbed

  • 5/5

Great parking outside a community sport Center, mainly dog walkers and horse riders. We met a couple of lovely other campers ☺️ it’s free but you can donate. There is a café opened on Wednesday and during the weekend.

  • 5/5

Photos do not do this spot justice. Lovely quiet spot. Will definitely return and recommend.

  • 4/5

lovely spot, big area and nice woodland walks. super friendly locals

  • 5/5

Such a beautiful area with lovely walks through the pine forest. Free parking but the carpark belongs to the cricket/football club which is a charity. A small voluntary donation to the club is more than fair enough to stay here. Also on fri/sat and Sunday's there is a cafe in the club house and the bacon rolls are delicious.

  • 5/5

Stayed for one night a week or two back, great spot and locals were friendly. Will definitely use again.

  • 5/5

'The Silk Road' is clearly an anti camper troll, read any of his 16 reviews.. notice a pattern?!! Great spot for my LWB/high roof Movano, will be back.

  • 5/5

nice spot, very quiet. few horse riders and dog walkers in the morning. locals are very friendly

  • 5/5

We were there midweek and had no problems. It's a nice quiet spot, loads of space.

  • 5/5

Flat sandy car park. A little noisy at 11pm when I arrived, soon quiet and no noise in the night. First dog walkers arrived at 6am. Nice dog walking in the woods. Will use again

  • 5/5

Einfacher Platz. Sehr eben. Sandboden. Sehr groß. Nachts sehr ruhig, tagsüber viel Wanderer/ Spaziergänger-Verkehr.

  • 5/5

Very nice area, stayed for 3 nights with no problems or wardens. Cricket match on the Sunday and a local’s bbq however no one seemed to have any issues with us being here! Perfect scenes to wake up to and lovely walks. 4G and full bars signal and a water tap on the building opposite - just asked someone leaving beforehand if we could use it, as there are cameras!

  • 5/5

Stayed over night Good Friday, hottest day of the year so far! Arrived early evening, found a flat spot in the main car park. Couple of dog walkers around very pleasant overnight stay. No warden, no restrictions.

  • 5/5

i found zero "no overnight signs" and no ranger came by. no problems at all. flattest spaces are in smaller car park opposite end of field ( entry via other lane) to the original large one quiet clean peacefull. felt safe great phone signal.

  • 1/5

New no overnight parking sign. Got moved off early in the morning by angry keeper.

  • 5/5

Undisturbed night, dog walkers came from about 0630 but no problem at all.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Plenty of space avoiding the pot holes. Had a lovely quiet night, good phone signal.

  • 5/5

This is a great spot because it is farther from main road unlike Newlands Corner which is massive. The 2 smaller car park areas near the totem pole are quieter with one only fitting 5 cars. There are loads of wooded areas to walk dogs. Very quiet at night.

  • 4/5

I am preempting this feedback as I spent 2 hours scouting a place to stay long term. Forget the places in Peaslake, the roads are so narrow only vans can get through. I will add comments to one as it is easy to miss and you cannot turn around. Please use Albury Heath car park on Google to find this and not the lane as it threw me off 10 miles in opposite direction.

  • 5/5

Great spot. During the day there's lots of dog walkers but at night we were the only ones.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, quiet. Dog walkers in the morning. Looks like there's a better park up if you follow the road round behind the pavillion, further away from the main road.

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot at night. It was wet in morning but I imagine there could be lots of dog walkers. Woods are great to explore. 2 other vans but socially distanced!

  • 5/5

Lovely site - easy access bit lumpy but with care level parking is available. Bit busy when we arrived but still plenty of space. By 20.30 we virtually had the place to ourselves. No one seemed bothered by our presence.

  • 5/5

Very busy during the day but still can find space.

  • 4/5

Stopped for lunch and had a game on the field. Plenty of space to park, and good walking in the vicinity.

  • 3/5

Having walked dogs near here, I was put off from staying over night by the amount of sex related rubbish (used condoms / tissues etc) strewn around the woods at the edge of the car park, rather unpleasant. Stayed instead at smaller car park on the other side of the playing fields which was mostly rubbish free, and was quiet and unbothered and even the early morning dog walkers didn’t wake us.

  • 5/5

Large potholey area but fairly level in most places. very quiet area so we had a great nights sleep. people arrived from 8am onwards on saturday morning for little league football on cricket pitch opposite so was a little noisy and busy but over by 11. not sure if every week

  • 5/5

Great little area. Some road noise but pretty quiet. Pot holes but easy to find a spot without chocks. One other motor home here. Plenty of space backing onto wooded area. Great 4g reception on Vodafone.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot with lots of room. It can get quite busy though. Even on a grey Monday morning

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night to break the journey on the way home from Dover. Beautiful spot where we were completely undisturbed and enjoyed a lie in following our 2 am arrival. Easy to get level in potholes simply by parking intelligently. Our spirit levels showed perfect with no ramps. Will definitely return here to explore properly. Many thanks to the local community.

  • 3/5

Okay place to spend the night. Bumpy, but you will find a level spot. Busy in the morning with dog walkers etc.

  • 5/5

    Nice spot. good 4g

  • 5/5

Easy and safe, a bit close to the road (you can hear it sometimes). We met two other camper vans, both from the UK. Highly recommended for a night or two (max).

  • 5/5

Good nights sleep, locals are friendly, very quiet except when fire department where testing all the equipment on the fire engine on the oval, stayed two nights and not hassled, recommended stop

  • 5/5

Highly recommended. very good place for mountain bike ride.

  • 5/5

Great stay, safe, quiet and enough space.

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot, safe, trouble free and some lovely walking from the carpark. locals didn't seem bothered by my presence. I cleared a small bag of rubbish from carpark when I left. keep it clean to keep use of this carpark!

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

    Super place for stay

  • 5/5

Nice and quiet place to stay for night

  • 5/5

Good place to park for the night !!

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Spent a quiet evening here, one other van

  • 5/5

Nice quite location by the playing field. Road in was a little tight height wise but ok

  • 5/5

Very peaceful with only a few dog walkers about. We parked up in a 9.6t expedition vehicle. At 11'8" it was a little tight getting under the trees.

  • 5/5

Quite ok. Good for dog walkings or biking.

  • 4/5

Calme en effet. Mais pas vraiment "en pleine nature"...

  • 5/5
