So far the absolute best spot we've to stay for several nights - if you are looking for a serene landscape. There were about 6-8 vans spread well out, with a view over the lake. Possible to wander the paths around the water. It's super quiet, some motorsport going on on occasion, but not too much. Internet is bad though :(

Relativ ruhiger Parkplatz mit Blick über den Stausee. Die Sanitäranlagen waren im September 2020 verschlossen. Müllbehälter sind direkt am Platz.

O restaurante já abriu. WC's disponíveis, mas infelizmente muito lixo junto ao rio (p as pel higiénico por todo o lado, como se fosse uma casa de banho gigante) Aparte disso, tudo impecável.

Lieu très calme pour passer la nuit. Le GNR est passé vers 21h30 pour une ronde. Les toilettes et les douches étaient fermés à cause du COVID. Jolie vue sur le lac.

Cerrado por el Covid, para bañarse mejor el otro lugar del pueblo de Santa Susana las pendientes son más suaves y puedes llegar con la autocaravana hasta el agua.

Sehr schöner weitläufiger Platz am Staudamm. Oben gibt es bei ein kleines Restaurant und über das Areal einige Plätze verteilt wo überall Wohnmobile stehen. Unten am Wasser kann man direkt auf der Wiese stehen. Sehr ruhige Nacht hier.

Still the lovely peaceful place i remember 10 years ago although much busier then. Unfortunately the selfish practice of putting chairs out to reserve a space still happens. If people want to do that go on a payed campsite you have no right to a space here. Move it you loose it is the rule.

Love this place :) this time we even went to the restaurant (we’re both vegans so we never go out to eat) and they made the loveliest vegan dish for us. The people over there are so sweet the kids speak English very well.

Second time here and the showers still open and hot, toilets clean with paper and soap. There is a water tap in the ladies. Lovely place *rant incoming* aside from the few obnoxious motorhomes who idle their engines, play loud music and generally act like they are the only ones who exist. Let's keep places like this motorhome friendly by being a bit more aware.

Flat, dirt area with view over the reservoir. Friendly, cheap, local bar. We had a quiet night with about 5 other vans present. Accessible in an 8m motorhome.

Platz sehr ruhig, leider sah der Stausee etwas traurig aus (Jan. 2020). Restaurant gut fußläufig zu erreichen, Essen war gut, Besitzer sehr freundlich, das Sanitärgebäude haben wir uns nur angesehen, daher keine Beurteilung. Zum Relaxen und für eine ruhige Nacht völlig in Ordnung.

Great for a night, lovely view. Free toilets and shower opposite the restaurant. Shoes needed in shower as floor gets muddy otherwise great - temperature control and proper shower head.

Kostenloses Klo und warme Dusche (Sauberkeit nicht die beste aber okay). Man kann oben am Restaurant stehen (dort sind auch die Klos) oder unten am „See“(der zeitweise kaum Wasser enthält) Ruhig, windgeschützt und sauber. Die weitere Natur/Umgebung ist recht schön aber es gibt beeindruckendere Spots.

Lieu hyper tranquille, il y a un restaurent et des douches chaudes à proximité ( avées tous les matins). Nous n’avons pas eu de chance car quand nous sommes arrivés il y avait du brouillard et nous partions tôt le lendemain. D’après un habitué rencontré le matin l’endroit est super!

Toujours agréable d y passer un moment, le ptit resto Mondini sympa et pas cher. Endroit à protéger et respecter. Le niveau d eau est très bas en ce début Août!

We spent a quiet night here by ourselves with a beautiful starry sky. The toilets and showers are up the road about 100m but didn’t have toilet paper in either, there is also recycling and rubbish here.

Basically a piece of waste land that the motorhomes have decided to park on and it's tolerated. Overlooking the lake it's a very calm, peaceful and tranquil spot where you can enjoy walks, fishing or just sunbathe on the sunbed. There is a restaurant/bar about 100 meters away and opposite this is a toilet block with showers. The downside, midges and flies are in abundance and are very irritable.

Best place we have visited this vacation... free hot shower. Toilet WITH toilet paper! Stars in the sky lake nearby, really good area for a walk. A lot of animals, birds, butterflies, reptiles, we love it! We wanted to stay 1 night but we stayed 2 nights because of the environment!!!

Free hot showers ! amazing to have hot showers and public toilets just up the road from the parking near the restaurant. The toilets were very clean and had toilet paper, hand towels and soap. The restaurant was nice with cheap beer but their internet is not great and there is hardly any service in the area. There’s recycling and bins also and a tap for water. It’s very secluded but with many campers on the weekend. There are some walks round the hillside and the lake by the dam. Stayed 3 nights.

Die heiße Dusche ist top und auch die Toiletten sind gepflegt (inklusive Seife, Klopapier und Handtüchern!). Ein paar Meter weiter, unten am See, übernachten einige Wohnmobile und Vans. Es ist aber auch genug Platz für alle. Die Nacht war ruhig und der Sternenhimmel gigantisch. Es gibt einige Stechmücken (in der Dusche warten sie auf nackte Haut), was an einem See aber recht normal ist. Gestört hat uns der starke Kläranlagen/Güllegeruch am Morgen, den man schwer ignorieren konnte. Deshalb sind wir schnell wieder aufgebrochen. Ansonsten ist es durch die Sanitäranlagen beinahe ein Gratis Campingplatz.

Wow just perfect. Free hot showers and toilet day and night. Trashcans nearby. Very calm (only 2 other campers midsummer). Good view on the lake, but does seem a bit too dirty water to swim in. Watch out for the mosquitos. Stayed 1 night

Endroit super sympathique très calme nous avons passé une bonne nuit bar et restaurants jusqu’à côté blocs sanitaires avec eau chaude très bien entretenue le tout est gratuit

Very nice and quiet place. Hot shower for free, toilets. Nice restaurant. Stayed 2 weeks. Love the place and the Milky Way at night. Did not like the musquitos.

Einfach nur wunderschön ruhig und man hat alles was man für ein paar Tage braucht. Der nächste Lidl und Intermarche ist ca. 15 min entfernt. Der See war eine tolle Abkühlung bei über 30 Grad.

Second time I have been here. Really nice lake, now the water was very high but two years ago in august it was really low and I could park down the hill. Free hot shower, perfect after weeks of cold showers!

Great quite stop for motorhome. We had a quite night only frog sounds. Walking trails beside lake but all blocked off. Free hot showers and toilets which were very clean. Drain for black waste but tap is in ladies toilets and no drive over drain for grey waste. There is a sign on the men's toilet door that the water is non potable. We did not fill up as we drink our fresh tank water.

Très bien nous avons passé la nuit au calme et dans l'obscurité celà change des aires et parking en bord de mer avec du bruit et un éclairage comme en plein jour et de plus quelques petites balades à pied

Überhaupt nicht unser Fall!! An der Talsperre herrscht absolute Todesstimmung, das Wasser ist so niedrig, dass zu viele Fische im Restwasser ums überleben kämpfen und die Vögel dort eine Massenveranstaltung am fischbuffet veranstalten! Trotz allem viele Wohnmobile dort! Wir sind jedoch sofort weiter gefahren! November 17

Décevant, le resto était fermé. Les deux places proches des douches-toilettes étaient prises et il n'y avait presque plus d'eau dans le lac..! Le stationnement est 150 m plus bas au bord du lac. Bon point : les toilettes sont propres et l'eau est chaude dans la douche. Nuit très tranquille...! juste une nuit.

Douches chaudes et sanitaires très propres. Le restaurant à proximité propose des plats bon marchés et copieux (très) servis par un personnel chaleureux. Beaucoup d'emplacements au bord du lac, mais attention : peu d'ombre et beaucoup de mouches en journée. N'hésitez pas à prendre 5 minutes pour ramasser quelques déchets autour de votre emplacement à votre arrivée, votre séjour n'en sera que plus agréable ! (Remarque valable un peu partout au Portugal)

Pour nous, 15 camping-cars sur 200 m2 c'est trop. Mais aucun de l'autre côté du barrage ! Alors la nuit fût une des plus tranquilles du voyage : aucun aboiement nocturne, que les petits oiseaux le matin ! Aucun détritus. Si le gardien du local technique est là, allez le saluer, son lieu de travail est juste impressionnant ! Très impressionnant même ! PS : il aime bien le Pastis du soir ;o)

Great stop in the middle of nowhere but nice view over the reservoir if you can get a spot. Alcacer do sal lovely town to visit nearby and awesome walks. Very quiet and the night sky outstanding ! Note : we are a very large motorhome and we took up most of the road down to it but luckily no motorhomes came the other way !

Nous y avons passé une nuit, endroit très calme, peu de passage, sanitaires très propres comparé à certain camping français et en prime eau chaude. Zone de pêche, nous n'avons pas osé nous baigner...

Super bien. Très calme. Douche chaude avec pression régulière, l'ensemble du coin sanitaire est propre. Petit resto l'accueil est très sympa. Repas plus que correct pour un prix raisonnable. Faire juste attention aux moustiques.
