No overnight parking, we went back and parked in the lay-by near the memorial the previous night. But we came back in the morning to do the 3 hour walk around the loch, glad we didn’t stay overnight as there were quite a few midges about in the car park. Towns cafe isn’t dog friendly but when weather is better has chairs and tables outside apparently, alas not today
I live in this community and the local people are not happy with motorhomes using this location - it should be removed, ultimately the community council is seeking formal restrictions.
Update August 2021:- No overnight parking restrictions that we could see. Lovely place for a stopover. Due to the daytime usage of the carpark I'd say about three motorhomes/under 7m would be the right sort of figure. Come and enjoy but be respectful - the bowling green, lake, nature reserve and tennis courts are all well used by locals.
A lovely place, however there are now no overnight signs posted on the entrance to the woods.
