Kommt garnicht auf die Idee nach unten zu fahren. Sobald man etwas in die Steigung reinfährt hat man ohne Allrad keine Chance mehr und muss sich rausziehen lassen ( zum Glück etwas los an dieser Straße) der Boden ist wesentlich rutschiger als man glaubt, auch wenn es ansonsten trocken ist. Der Rest vom Platz oben neben der Straße ist sehr schräg.
Good park up, road got quite towards 8pm and got busy around 8am the next morning with walkers. ground wasn't level but your in the lake district.. would recommend!
Beautiful scenery, lovely area. The slope is a bit of a problem, and it was far too busy with walkers, motorists and cyclists in the morning.
Very big lay by with a nice view! Be aware that there is a poo on the grass from the animals though. though. The area was surrounded by sheep and goats it was really cute! Extremely quiet past 9pm, did not get disturbed or moved on.
Just a layby on the side of the road and please please please don't think of going through a gate and lighting a fire... Sorry, but that would be completely out of order
