no over night camping now. cameras everywhere. I think that potentially the women who owns the cafe never had the right to charge I asked her about staying in the carpark and she said it's never been allowed , even though I personally remember paying her the tenna the previous time, she was quite rude and said vans had ruined it for everyone.
Now ran by a private company with cameras everywhere. Ok for a quick walk on the beach i suppose. Ground is a mess, uneven and not worth it. Toilets are rancid, remember the scene in the film ‘Trainspotting’
DO NOT stay here overnight! Went with a friend who has stayed here overnight numerous times, was assured it would be ok. Woke up in the morning to a PCN for £100, as did four others who were in cars, motorhomes and campers!
Asked in the cafe about paying to stay for the night, they said not allowed for the rest of the year. There were a few vans/motorhomes on the car park, so stayed the day on the beach and saw what others were doing - everyone left, so I did. Toilets and tap onsite, cleanish. Dog friendly beach. Cafe and a bar area seemed ok, people stayed having a beer until approx 9pm. Parking is gently sloping, stony ground. Nice views. Shame if they have stopped over night stays.
Charging £10 to stay overnight for a Motorhome though cars are free. Café was open. Largely sloping.

Okay so the lips aren’t brilliant but the cafe in the wigwam is super. Parking is £10 overnight and either £3 or £5 daytime. Great beach and plenty of bins. Ignore the poor reviews.

Good place, great beach on the coastal path. We paid £10 for one night but stayed another 2 for free, as the cafe was open on the Sunday but not on the Monday or Tuesday as it was out of season. There were toilets (not clean) and a waste bin.

You have to park at back of Car park in marked bays cannot blame them vans were in at all angles time before last time was there .its a wonderful place nice tho have owners who don’t stop parking

Stayed here August 2015 loverly spot with fantastic beach £10 per night very quiet and cheap compared with site next door at £35 and. 80p a minute for showers toilet block not up to much though and closed from 6 - 10
£10/nt is top dollar considering there's no facilities (there are some toilets but signs ask you not to empty any waste there) Please treat this place with respect as the stopover privilege can be withdrawn by the private owner's at any time!
