Park for the day is £3.50 (over 4 hours) and if you have a car conversion camper there isn't a problem over night. Shop open to 11pm called Family Shopper. with station behind you go up the street ahead of you on the left. Also a 24 hour garage on the top road of the town going out towards Abegele.

Pay and display to park on Colwyn Bay front but Old Colwyn is free, however there is no overnight parking allowed on prom. At end of the prom turn right and then first right onto Min Y Don Avenue and your free to park by the wall on the left and it's fairly flat. A55 can be noisy above you ?

Restrictions in place so no overnight parking. Have done what Mopedriver recommended. Parked in Min-y-don avenue, just under bridge, turn right and oarked on flat along here.

Totally agreeing with the comment before. Earplugs required. The nights are very busy there.

Conwy council have introduced “no motor caravan” parking between hours of 11pm and 8am along seafront and the zone includes this area “35m east of the Cliff Gardens entrance to the promenade”. If evening high tide very busy with local fishermen so ear plugs required as they talk until early hours. Nice spot outside the “no motor caravan” parking hours but park overnight at your own risk of penalty. Better to drive under the bridge to the rear and turn right and park up overnight next to the gardens. Nice and flat and quiet. Then move back to the sea front after 8am.

Nice views of coast but bad location for parking overnight. The end of the road were you can park 4 to 5 motorhomes is now under the no parking resrictions, was told by fellow camper only park till 10pm then move lots of camper issued £35 tickets last month....!!!

Great spot right on end of Promenade by viaduct. Thank you to previous person for flagging this up on this excellent website ! panoramic view of sea from both sides and front out to wind farm. No facilities but hey cant have everything. A quiet spot popular with fishermen. Please remember keep it clean and quiet to keep it !! Daisychain

You need to be by the viaducts to stay overnight. You will need to level you Motorhome but we managed to get nearly level. Room for 4 Motorhomes if lucky. Can be busy with cars. Great views.

No there are no parking restrictions in place I drove through yesterday and all still ok anyone who are seeing signs are not looking far enough along the promenade as it is right down the far end

  • 2/5

Drove through here August 2015 still no signs saying no overnight stays and a couple of m/h parked up however a few too many people wandering up and down the prom for us so didn't stay here

Now stopped by the council. This beatiful stopover has been denied to the many by the selfish actions of a few out staying thier welcome. How do I know this?...........the council official told me that's how.
