Go to farmhouse to pay before entering camping area (owners Jenny et Margrit). If not in, write vehicle registration number and your name with cash and put throug farmhouse letter box. Super friendly hosts, clean site, recycling bins, separate men and womens toilets but no electrical hook ups and no showers. Tents ok, motorhomes 7m max. Fires permitted in firepits with wood sold by owners. No wood cutting or collection- this is an eco site. Dogs ok on a lead. Overhead power cables so no kite/drone flying.

Zelte ok, Wohnmobile 7m max. Really nice little place. Love the sound of the river going past. Birds singing. Lovely and quiet

I’ve stayed here a couple of years ago and returning next week. Perfect location for MTB, wonderful walks, swimming in the river! Don’t expect fancy, it’s rough and ready but it’s got the essentials!

Lovely quiet spot next to the river. Basic & clean toilet & sink facilities. Would definitely stay again, £10 per adult

lovely campsite, £8 per adult, £5 per child, no showers or electric hook up, back to basics, DOGS on leads because of sheep, definitely worth a visit.

Zeer primitief sanitair. Nice spot in the nature with plenty of different spots to place your tent or camper

Beautiful site with a generously big grassy place and wonderful spots near the river. Very simple, very peaceful - waking up with sheep peeping in your window. I absolutely loved it.

Lovely site, very natural. We arrived after dark so was very hard to find where to park as it was SO dark and unlit. Couldn't find toilets in the dark. Need a decent torch here and very muddy in Feb getting to loos in morning. Men and women's loos and a shower in the woman's (don't know about men's) lovely hosts. Steep hill to access. Next to river. Cash only on arrival

Possibly the most beautiful campsite I have ever stayed at. Very simple, quiet and next to a stunning river. Was meant to stay one night and came back the following night because I couldn’t stay away. I’d live here full time if I could! The owner is very friendly. The whole thing feels very old school - just how I like it.

Spent a night here while riding Penmachno, £9.50 for myself and my campervan. Basic site, with toilets and a river to have a wash in, super quiet, music is not allowed which suited me perfectly. There are no lights nearby so seeing the stars was spectacular. I was lucky enough to get a space right next to the river, which was lovely to listen to. Will definitely use this site again.

Probably THE BEST CAMPSITE I’ve ever been to everrrrr!!!! Absolute beautiful and out in the wild

Really peaceful, down by the river. Very reasonably priced and well managed. My go to stop in north Wales.

Welcoming hosts, clean fresh river and site. Peaceful and a wonderful place to de-stress while in Wales. Sheep munch around and if you're lucky you get to help ( or watch) to herd them back in their 'night field' in the evening creating much fun and some wildlide education for the kids (even the bigger ones!! ;0) ) Heartily recommended.
