Grass parking area on The Begwns common, beautiful views and plenty of walks to do. The walled garden at the top of the hill is magical! Quite a few hikers during the day, but completely quiet at night. Beware, narrow access road from the north (not sure about the south), we managed ok in a LWB van, but not suitable for motorhomes. Would not recommend it in the wet as the grass could get boggy.

beautiful but watch out during rainy weather as it gets pretty muddy. we almost got stuck with our campervan so we decided not to stay.

Very narrow incline lane to the top but absolutely worth the views. 2 Bars of 4G with Sky and friendly locals. Absolutely worth a visit.

Beautiful location, enjoyed a couple of lovely walks near by, the walled garden is very nice. small pond a little bit down the road which is another nice place for a walk. would recommend. few walkers coming and going and 1 other van for the night, plenty of space. We managed no problem in a LWB.

Peaceful, beautiful views of Brecon Beacons. It is right at the bottom of a national trust monument 'The Roundabout' and a short walk from 'The Monks Pool'. Sounds: Sheep and lambs wondering by. Birds (gold crests) tweeting softly. Sound of farmer on his tractor herding the sheep to the west (did not care). A car passes once every hour, mostly hikers or journeying on. A few more at sunset.

Great spot. We spent two nights parked up here last week with no problems. It would definitely be tricky in the rain due to the dip from the road to the grass but we left without leaving a trace.

Beautiful place, one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I came in a wet and windy day and it was fine. Nobody here, no hikers, completely silent. I’m only in a wee Skoda Yeti so I made it up the track no worries.

Amazing spot, were the only people there from 20:00 onwards and had a lovely walk up to the wooded area for sunset

Beautiful location, views for miles and extremely peaceful. Nice walks around especially the one to the top of the hill. When we arrived there was only one other van but due to the spaciousness we were no where near. The drive up the hill is a tight one way road so large vehicles may struggle.

Excellent spot, spent a very peaceful night here no issues. Beautiful views. Nice short walk up the hill to a place called "The Roundabout" (a little walled off patch of trees maintained by national trust) from here

Great spot! Lovely views around! Nice flat grassy area to park, signal is really good too

Beautiful spot! No facilities of course, but flat enough to park up. Saw quite a few people park up for a walk, and everyone said hello. Even saw the farmer in the morning who said hi. Narrow single country lane to get there, so wouldn't recommend to anything larger than a panel van.

Superb spot. A few dog walkers in the evening a loads of sheep but stunning views. We came up in a xlwb iveco but a wider motor home will struggle. It was totally worth the climb and a nice little walk to the top of the hill. Please keep it clean as we are noticing more and more park ups disappearing. And keep your dogs on their leads please.
