As a previous person commented the farmer asked me to move on as we were parked in the National park and technically it is not permissable to wild camp in the National Park. Pretty sure the location is in the National Park but didn't have a map to check. Farmer offered his field which he is setting up as a camping field for £10. Facilities are very limited in his field so wouldn't pay more
Although there were no sign to say 'no overnight parking' The farmer next door had a problem with us parking there. He wanted us to pay him to stay on his land. He started taking photos of my campervan, I couldn't to asked to have an argument so l moved on.
Lovely place to stay. Had small highland cows for company. Hardly any traffic, some horse riders around 7am. Brownies from the farm were banging ☺️ only one van joined us during the night.
Great quiet spot next to a farm. In front of the farm’s gate there are some fresh eggs, and home made cakes you can buy using the coin box. We had great eggs and chocolate brownie for breakfast!! No traffic at night on the road. One dog walker until 9am. A hidden gem!
