Donnegal: free parking at night From 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. At the water's edge, near the center, this evening we are 10 motorhomes. For toilets and water, go: road opposite the car park exit, 300 m in the curve after the Aldi store. And also, toilets with hot water at the tourist office located in the same car park.

Nice spot on the river. Close to town. Just beware Donegal town is a haven for boy racers they come and go all night .Loud music and engines

Lovely spot right by the river and close to the town, but we stayed on a Friday evening and all the boy racers meet up in the car park at night and seem to make a game out of annoying anyone in campers! Alot of noise until 1:30am due to this!

Mitten im Ort und Nachts doch ruhig. Super für Pubbesuche mit toller Musik. Das Ambiente ist nicht toll, da es der Grossparkplatz von Donegal ist. Aber mit Blick auf den Fluss ertragbar.

Stellplatz ist ein normaler Autoparkplatz. Kostenlos zwischen 18:00 Uhr und 9:00 Uhr. Dann 30ct. die Stunde. 5 Minuten Fußweg in die Stadt. Sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Außer Abfalleimer keine Ausstattung

Nous avons passé une nuit très calme, places au fond du parking mieux pour les camping-cars, à proximité des commerces, ville très sympathique

Ok, der Parkplatz ist kostenlos, aber das war wirklich die lauteste Nacht, die ich jemals im Wohnmobil verbracht habe: Bis 3 Uhr fuhren Halbstarke bis zum Ende des Parkplatzes, um dort mit quietschenden Reifen zu drehen und mit unter Vollgas jaulendem Motor wieder zurückzufahren. Sehr unangenehm!

Good stop in an interesting if not touristy town. Only nearby toilet is in the Tourist Office near the entry to car-park. The Texaco station on the way north out of Donegal has a truck driver toilet as the rear (handy for the cassette) and water.

Good place to park for the night, close to pubs and restaurant's. Rubbish bins as well, quiet at night, very busy during the day. 2.70 euro's all day, 9am to 6pm. Park in one bay or you will get a ticket. Doesn't matter if you stick out a bit.

Nous y avons passé une nuit (samedi soir) et, vu les commentaires précédents, nous nous sommes garés à l'entrée du parking près de l'hôtel, sans lever le toit. Du coup, pas de bruit de cars, de jeunes ou autres, à part quelques véhicules qui partent après la fermeture des pubs mais comme on y était aussi, ça ne nous a pas gêné.

Idéal pour visiter Donegal. Nuit calme, malgré quelques voitures en soirée. Arriver en matinée ou en soirée car parking vite plein. Coût 2.70 € les 24h

Un peu bruyant le soir avec des jeunes qui font de très nombreux allers-retours avec leurs voitures.

Avons passé la nuit du 7 juin 2018. Simple parking plat en bord de mer sans service. Payant jusqu'à 19h (0,6 €/h). Les places du fond vers sont les plus calmes. Centre à moins de 500 m.

Stayed on a Saturday night in April, and was very good. A little noise early on in the evening but quiet through the night. Situated between the River and town centre so ideal location. A beautiful area with wonderful beaches.

De la place en hiver. Un peu de bruit car du passage mais un couchage à côté du centre est bien pratique.

Parking bien situé car à coté du centre ville mais trop bruyant, des jeunes ont fait des courses de voitures jusque 2h du matin, ensuite c'est le camion de nettoyage à 6h, nuit pas terrible.

Parking hyper bruyant dimanche soir Run de voiture jusqu'à 3h du matin, 6h camion balayeuse pendant 30 mn a tourner autour des camping-cars, de 7h à 8h bus qui font chauffer leurs moteurs enfin une nuit déplorable à éviter si vous aimez le calme
