Perfect park up by the beach if you can make it under the height barrier but beware if it’s windy your vans getting covered in sand

  • 5/5

Stayed overnight, no issues. A few people hanging around until around 1am but no issues. Car park started to fill around 11am

  • 5/5

I car camped 1 night. Very busy on arrival at 4pm. Quietened off by 9pm. Couple of cars with youngsters hanging out until 11pm. 1 van & me all night. Security drove through at 10pm.Well-lit. Toilets closed until 11am! Rubbish bin. Screened from Morfa Beach by dunes. Few short strides onto stunning dog-friendly beach. Saw no prohibitive signs about bbq/fire pit. Remain stealthy & respectful = no problem

Probably one of my favourite stops on this trip around wales! Busy with dog walkers and teens in cars till about 10pm. But after that so quiet. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and iv had the best night sleep! Also toilets haven’t been locked the whole time iv been here.

  • 1/5

Our T5 was literally millimetres too high due to roof rack , but we were also stopped by security as area apparently belongs to resort.

  • 5/5

Lovely park up, got a bit noisy at times but didn’t bother us. busy in the mornings. But it’s right next to the beach so for free u can’t complain! height restrictions 1.96m we got in fine with a Vw t4 would park here again. recommended

  • 1/5

1.5m height barrier on the road now :(

  • 2/5

Easy to find even at 9pm dusk and could be a good place but unfortunately within 5 mins of us parking it was full of drunken teenagers likely from the campsite. Lots of cars coming and going we left soon after arriving.

  • 5/5

Busy during the day, only us from around 11pm -6am and then the dog walkers arrived. Free flat parking, 4G data, mountain vires right next to the coast although you can't see it because of the sand dunes. Toilet block but wasn't open, sign says 9-5 but we arrived at 3 and it wasn't open. Height resistiction of 195cm, no problem for our Renault Traffic. Beautiful spot, we would stay again.

  • 4/5

Peaceful stopover, quiet at night. You are in direct view of some of the holiday homes but there were no issues. Left van there most of the day whilst we went on a cycle ride, got back to a much busier carpark with inconsiderate parking making the exit tricky. Height barrier 1.95m Toilets did not open at all on the warmest Saturday of the year so far :/

  • 5/5

Beautiful location, nice and quiet and friendly dogwalkers.

  • 5/5

Stayed on a Thursday evening. Lovely park up for small vans. We have a Nissan nv200 which was fine under the height barrier. Could not see the sea because you are sheltered by a small banking and sand dunes. There was quite alot of cyclists passing through and dog walkers visiting until dark and arriving around 6am in their cars. Did not have any problems.

  • 5/5

The directions should read go past the entrance to Aberconwy Resort And Spa. I had a peaceful night's sleep

  • 2/5

Unfortunately could not fit under the barrier with my Citroen relay H1L1 with roofrack! I am 99% sure it could've fit without the roofrack but would've been tight. Any van smaller should fly through.

  • 5/5

Great parking spot for the night! We arrived late around midnight and there was plenty of space still available - probably enough for 10 or 15 vehicles. Free to get in and no trouble from the nearby holiday park. Very quiet overnight apart from some wave sounds and beautiful beach views in the morning! Height restricted and unfortunately toilets only open 9-5 so we missed them. Bin available.

  • 4/5

A couple of cars during the night, one playing loud music and other smoking weed but left quickly. We were the only overnighters. Toilets closed, bin available. Great spot for dog walking but when sunrises you get plenty of other dog walkers. Be aware of the weather, it sweeps in around the headland and blows a gale. We parked behind the dunes for some protection but was still rocking the van.

  • 5/5

stayed here on the 26th Nov absolutely stunning park up room for a good 10 vans but there is a height barrier off 1:95m so 2m and up no chance. Only facilities are Toilets but they where closed great stay very quite, but a lot of dog walkers in the morning.

  • 5/5

squeezed under in raised up t4 camper. nice flat level parking toilet left open all night cars until late but only walkers another t4 there in morning great views over the beach! would happily stay again!

  • 5/5

lovely spot close to a cracking beach, quiet and well lit. Toilet on site locked at night.

  • 5/5

Amazing free and right on the beach Just 5 mins drive from Conwy one of the best places I’ve ever stayed

  • 4/5

Good overnight camping spot with beach access. Lots of early dog walkers and cyclists passing through in the morning. Height restriction (1.96m) in place on the access road which was fine for our car + roof tent.

  • 5/5

Perfect for a night's rest. Few other campers aswell. Very peaceful

  • 5/5

Parking calme, à plat, très bien dormis. Accès direct à la mer, facile d'accès mais limité en hauteur. Pas de dérangement, 4G, pas de toilettes.

  • 4/5

Perfect location, car park emptied around 10pm, then a few other campers arrived but ideal as was quiet and you can let your dog have a run around on the beach. (Height restrictions are pretty low, we got into the car park with our 1.85m van)

  • 4/5

Great location next to the beach. Busy until around 10:30pm But then just a couple of cars and my van overnight. Quiet until 07:00 then

  • 5/5

Lovely and quiet spot. Great beach and dunes. Were the only ones there for the nights. Expect dog walkers between 5am and 11pm. Got in with 2.05m height in the middle of the height barriers. Bins provided. toilet is closed at night.

  • 5/5

Great spot! Hidden away little gem of a place. There is a height barrier though.

  • 5/5

Our first trip in the van and couldn’t have found a more perfect place, unspoilt beauty! Right on the beach front, sunset was absolutely gorgeous. one other van in car park and few cars, very quiet and well lit with street lights. Rubbish bin on site, toilets closed. No noise, slept really well. Height restriction barrier on entrance but our transit connect van was fine. Will be returning ASAP!

  • 5/5

Stayed for 2 nights no issues. Public Toilet block on the carpark opened at 9am

  • 5/5

Great spot. Lowered T5 had plenty of clearance. Only us on car park for night. People came and went all friendly. Toilets and bins. Happy days.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night, height barrier says 1.95m . We just squeezed under in our t4. Other than a couple of cars that turned up was really nice and peaceful. Police came past once but left us alone. We will stay here again.

  • 5/5

7 December the barrier was open so parked our motor home really good overnight

  • 5/5

Excellent spot, stopped for the night we were the only van, our transit custom L1H1 fitted .Couple of cars came in for a bit with music on the go but nothing to bother about. Only real annoyance was the female in her Fiat 500 who chuck used wet wipes out of her vehicle, lucky I had gloves to tidy her mess! The car park started to fill up from 7am with walkers, doh walkers, canoeist & swimmers.

  • 5/5

Amazing spot, right on the edge of the beach for lovely walks to the marina. Level and sheltered from winds but close enough to hear the sea. Lots of cars with walkers early on but by 10pm we were only ones there for a lovely nights sleep. Barrier at entrance so anything higher than a T5 with roof bars will struggle. 100% stay here again

  • 5/5

Nice flat carpark by the beach. Well lit. Toilets appear to be locked at all times at the moment. Busy with walkers until about sunset then a few other cars came and just sat there until about 1030. Felt safe. Would stay again

  • 5/5

First time spending the night in the van and could of found a more amazing spot. Don’t think we will beat this spot. Right on the beach, gorgeous sun set and beautiful starry sky. Little busy during the day with dog walkers. But no trouble at all. Hear noise from the near by road but nothing that can be blocked out. Also a height restriction on the way in.

  • 5/5

Quiet, beautiful location to park. We were alone in the car park overnight once all the dog walkers had been. Tea on the beach with a gorgeous sunset, couldn’t have asked for a better spot in this area of Wales!

  • 5/5

Stayed here for two nights this week - lovely clean beach and stunning sunset! As stated previously, there is a height restriction barrier on entry, so maximum height for vans is 6’5”. Car park is busy from 9am with dog walkers, then families throughout the day, but by 6pm it’s virtually empty. No facilities at the moment as the toilets are locked, but a beautiful stop off if you’ve got facilities on board ?

  • 5/5

Was a great recommendation. No trouble and right by the sea. No amenities but a bin. Some young people hanging around in cars but were no issue.

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet nights sleep . Height restriction barrier so we were the only ones here in our T6. lovely views of the beach and cove from our poptop. lots of jellyfish on the beach . popular with dog walkers

  • 5/5

This was a great find! We happened to be the only ones staying for the night - a few people stopping by briefly to walk dogs- so was lovely and peaceful. No signage against overnight parking. Bin present which is useful

  • 5/5

We have been staying here on and off for a number of years, occasional boy racer rocks up with music on but never caused any aggro. The security from the mobile home park do a drive round last thing, but are always polite and never trouble you. Once we were woken up by a police officer, said we hadn’t done anything wrong and he was just checking we were ok.

  • 5/5

Decent spot next to the beach. loads of jelly fish in the water when the tide comes in. group of people having a jolly in the carpark late evening. would have been a disturbance if they weren't so amusing to watch. bin available.
