At the beginning of loch Leven, on the wooded parking lot of the RSPB (center of discovery of the fauna and the flora of the natural park), at the edge of the road skirting the south of the lake. Nice place unfortunately disturbed by the traffic of the road. Quiet between midnight and 6am. Good for a stage night.

Now £15 a night. Some road noise. Nice, clean, warm toilets but cold water. Cafe.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 05/10/23 overnight. It’s £5 for members or £8 non members for overnight. Very clean toilets open 24/7 and a wet room for people with disabilities. There was just us and 1 other car all night, there’s a little traffic noise but not much. By 8am the car park was starting to fill up. Lovely nights sleep!

  • 4/5

Great new toilet facilities since our last visit. Even with traffic, had a great night's sleep. We are RSPB members and were told by staff we had to pay for overnight parking, but free during the day. Only £5 for overnight but still, when you've forked out for a lifetime membership, there should be an odd perk!!!???

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

As advertised. very helpful staff. 5 puns a night. lovely clean toilets. Excellent dog walks. slightly noisy road. Home is where u Park!

  • 3/5

Only pitches on the bottom right are suited for larger vehicles (LWB + motor homes) £5 for the night, we moved on further down the road to the next spot by the coffee shop which had much more space and was flat + Free!

  • 3/5

Hele mooie locatie, leuke picknick bankjes, ...

  • 5/5

Stayed here at the weekend for 2 nights great place to park up ,toilets open all night and spotless ,great cafe and very friendly staff ,only £5 for overnight Loads of walks.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. Car park is large and sloping. Toilets are immaculate. Can pay cash or contactless at ticket machine. We stayed here as couldn’t find anywhere to empty our toilet. Tried taking our dog for a walk and got absolutely mobbed by flies. Good 4G on EE.

  • 5/5

Great park up! £3 for the day (10am till 10pm) then £5 overnight (10pm till 10am), toilets open 24hrs very clean facilities. Staff very welcoming of people staying overnight plus the cafe open during the day. Great hiking trails in the area too, we would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

This is a bird nature reserve car park. We are RSPB members so were FREE to park instead of £5 overnight. Great TV/phone signals. As said before, I was surprised at how exceptionally clean (and warm) the toilets were. Beautiful clean area (I didn’t see one scrap of litter on our late night walk) with 13km trail around the Loch and picnic benches. We will definitely be back.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Beautiful location and clean facilities. Various accessible trails perfect for a late eve leg stretch. As mentioned, the road is right there but quiet enough overnight. We were the only ones there so had our pick of the car park - flattest next to the road.

  • 5/5

Great little place. Most of the parking area is on a slope. Park near the wall or even in the coach bay for flat area. Yes there is road noise, but turn your radio up. Toilets open all night and very clean so pay your £5 to stay overnight. Ideal 1st night then head up north.

  • 5/5

Great facility made available by the RSPB so don’t mind paying for it. Beautiful sunset with the light hitting the mountains behind and the toilet facilities are immaculate and available all night. Traffic can be heard but quietens down after 2300 and starts back up about 0600. Leave no trace and respect the facilities and hopefully the opportunity to park here overnight will remain.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot to park up overnight. Spent the day at the loch then had a lovely evening walk, and again the following morning when there was no one else around as you still have access after hours. Beautifully clean toilets open all night. Some noise from the road and quite a few dog walkers pulled up but we weren’t disturbed although we did park away from the road.

  • 5/5

Lovely little spot in the RSPB centre, a few other campers, but nice and quiet. Toilets open all night. The flatter spots are next to the road but it didn’t disturb us! We paid £8 as we got there at around 5pm and the ticket gave us until 10am the next day. Donation box as you walk towards the visitor centre and cafe, worth a donation too if you can, lovely area to walk with the dog

  • 4/5

Stayed on 01.08.2022. Cost £8 as machine charged a day rate & overnight but might be because night rate kicked in at 10pm and we were there earlier? Road has some traffic but very quiet overnight and didn't bother us once it started picking up. Reserve open all night and so were the toilets.Overall not the most picturesque parking but quiet and shielded by trees so absolutely no complaints here.

  • 5/5

Now this carpark allows overnight parking for £5. It is £3 to park for the day and visit the great RSPB centre. No problems at all. There are toilets and a cafe when the centre is open. Lovely friendly staff. Also good for walking or cycling around Loch Leven. 13 miles round with several cafes too. Fantastic bird life, a bit of road noise but not late at night. Flat nearest road. Plenty room.

  • 5/5

Great little spot just off the road. They dont normally allow people to stay but we did ask permission from one of the RSPB people first and he was fine with us staying. There are three portaloos on-site whist renovations are underway. You can find a flat pitch next to the white storage containers.

  • 5/5

Stayed for 1 night, we were the only car in the whole carpark despite the high season. Very nice and quiet. 15min walk to a little beach where we watched a beautiful sunset over the lake. 3 portable scotloo toilets were available and open all night. Well maintained and clean. Very nice spot

  • 1/5

Closed for refurb at the moment. Hoping to have car park open next week.

  • 5/5

Great spot to stay overnight. Staff at the RSPB centre were happy for us to park. Road quite busy until about 11pm.

  • 5/5

Lovely car park at the RSPB. A little traffic from nearby road but quiet past 9pm. On a slight slope but we managed to find a good spot.

  • 5/5

    Super quiet spot. Definitely recommended!

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

A fab place just off the road, an odd buzzing noise all night from something mechanical (!) but a great spot and felt safe here with my 7 year old daughter.

  • 5/5

Great spot. The car park has space for at least 40 vehicles, but most spots are on a slope. The car park does have a gate on it, but it was not shut while we stayed, and it has no locking facility on it. There are toilets and a cafe available at the rspb centre, all the staff are very friendly. the car park is directly in a road that is relatively busy during the day, but pretty quiet at night

  • 5/5

Great woody spotty, not too busy or loud.

  • 5/5

Fantastic, woody parking spot. Lots of level ground. Woke up to just a few new cars around us in the morning in mid-August, having arrived at 0030. So close to beautiful Loch Leven.

  • 2/5

When wet this parking is very muddy. the road noise is bad. the parking bays are all on a slope.

  • 4/5
